AM I GOING TO DIE

check your blinker fluid levels

I'M SURE ITS NOTHING, JUST DRIVE IT LIKE YOU NORMALLY WOULD

>tfw you're so autistic you check your fluids and sniff your engine bay every time you go to work

>drive car after a short break of not driving it
>not sure if those strange sounds rattles and clunks were there before

>leave car at mommys house for a few months
>was that crack in the windshield there before

rip op

I don't sniff it but I listen carefully

I'm just waiting for my TOB/Clutch to shit the bed.

>think you hear something
>tell everyone to shut the fuck up
>turn off radio
>put ear closer to dash
>know something is wrong but i have no idea and im currently going 80 on the highway

fuck

you shouldn't be posting and driving user

>drive a 2016 Japanese econobox with 17k miles
>constantly paranoid that something is going to break even though everything is perfect
I heard a weird rattle when I started my car a few days ago and I thought the engine was gonna blow
hold me

>Bumped into someone during a left turn just after and intersection as the person ahead of them spun out 180°
>all 3 pull over and everyone is okay.
>her 10 yr old SUV has a scuff that will buff out with a rag
>my bumper paint is scrapped and a few body clips popped out, and hood is bent. Immediately check lights, A/C, and any leaks.

everything went then expected

2 days later it just doesn't sound normal. I'm not supposed to but I checked the oil and it looks OK but I want to do a couple oil changes and cut open the filters but I'm not allowed to work on it until the insurance BS is done

>mfw

Check the pressure on your muffler bearing.

If you looked, there would definitely be a few things wrong/worn/broken, but most likely not in need of IMMEDIATE care. Just continue driving until you can clearly notice something wrong, like a noise, weakened performance, cluster lights, etc. Unless you have a lot of money and want to take it to the dealer and get the 5 or 6 things fixed for a few thousand.

No car with thousands of miles or few years old is perfect.

Yeah I think I've actually done that with friends in the car.

>car's back tires are completely bald
>rattles like crazy above 65, stops rattling above 95
>old enough to drink
>auto tranny never shifts when it should
>bottom is completely rusted out
>A/C broken, most things broken for that matter
>engine sounds like a lawnmower being thrown into a woodchipper

good shit

>car feels just a little bit different everyday

This. Somedays +20hp somedays -20hp.

>mfw lose power after a tyre change
worry

>NEW ENGINE TICK
>TEMP GAUGE FLUCTUATING
FUCK

I've done this before, several times. I always have to pull over and check things.

>steering wheel starts vibrating while driving on the highway
>not sure if it's because of the road, or if your suspension is fucked, or if you forgot to torque your lugs
>goes away within 200ft

Every fucking time.

>Engine Ticks whenever I push the gas
>Shifting from first to second the whole truck jolts and nearly breaks my neck
>490,000 miles
A-atleast it gets me and my stuff where I need to go, right?

>car vibrates at all speeds
>not sure if it's the road or suspension
>steering and brakes feel fine

MFW yes
Sometimes I feel like the cars just wants to decelerate and I need to press the gas pedal more than usual, sometimes the timing chain rattles

shits falling apart yo

all stock NA/NB Miatas develop a harmonic vibration at 60-70 mph that generally goes away by 85 mph.

>be me
>driving 2 weeks ago
>CLUNK
>every time i go over bumps it rattles
>eh, probably just a loose muffler pipe
>keep using car for two weeks
>hoon a bit like always
>drive on highway
>take exits/entrances quick
>even use it to drive 3 hours on the highway at 75~85mph
>finally get it checked out today at dealership
>"you have a broken strut. that strut helps with braking, and is an essential part of the car. this vehicle is unsafe to drive."
>mfw i just drove around 2 weeks with a broken strut
>mfw 1000 dollars to fix
