It's a shit car to deal with day to day, but a PTGT can probably lay down some decent times and surprise the Miatafags who've dumped thousands into their setups. This assumes you're a decent driver and well acquainted with the FF layout's nuances.

Drop a rolls royce v12 in it, then do an ute conversion, then drop a manual tranny in it

Step 3: Stage 2 Tune
Step 4: Track it till it dies, which it will eventually.

Since they're based off of 30's coupes and sedans, I've always wanted to see someone strip down the panels off a PT Cruised and turn it into a hot rod looking thing.

The 2.4 is a beast. The pt's weakness is the auto trans

PTGT 5-speed manual owner here, can confirm. Get that 2.4 wound up to 4K and it fucking hauls. autocrossed it a couple times, and pissed off some miatafags.

Also destroyed my buddy's V6 mustang in a drag race.

Problem being that the engine is rotated in the most fuck-ridiculous way to fit in the tiny bay that the plenum is kissing the front rail. You will not be able to work on this engine so be careful with the boost you feed it.

Can confirm. Changing plugs requires dropping the engine.
