I used to think the mr-s looked gay too, but honestly it grew on me, and for the price you can't beat it, better power:weight than a miata. Plus with a hardtop they aren't quite so fruity looking.

The power to weight isn't that big a deal, it's just lighter and engine is in godtier space.
