Front suspension overhaul

my inspection expires in 3 days

alternator brushes except they cost $120 so ive been putting it off.
then a door control board.

Couldn't fit it all desu

In descending order of which ones I'm likely to do first/am able to do immediately. I really have to fix the A/C compressor sooner than later though because it's already 85F here by noon

It's something

>a/c compressor solenoid
explain pls

I honestly have no idea how A/C compressors work to begin with but apparently some newer ones operate with a solenoid switch instead of a clutch. Occasionally the solenoid gets dirty and it won't open/close

Get a car

Car
>wash it and clean the inside
Bike
>wash it
>integrated taillight/turn signals
>flush mounted front turn signals
>slip on exhaust
>shorty levers
>bar end mirrors
>replace fairings from when I crashed it
Need them all to be in my hands because undertail exhaust needs all kinds of shit taken off to install and I might as well do it all at once

...

all I could think of

This is.... a lot when I type it all out.

>parasitic draw
explain pls

>sell two shitboxes
>buy a car that's actually reliable
>engine replacement for the project

A pick'n'pull run.

>cup holders from 03+ car
>outside air temp. sensor
>check for rear armrest with cup holders
>exhaust hanger bracket doodad
>passenger headlight cover that isn't fogged to fuck on the inside
>rear bumper cover if there's one the same color

Meh.

Ok, so when you shut your car off, there's almost no current being drawn from the battery right? A parasitic draw is an excessive amount of current that the car is using when it's off. Y
This drains the battery. To troubleshoot it, you hook an ammeter to the battery between the negative terminal and the negative lead, and then start pulling fuses to see the problem area. It's not a fun process.

neat

NOTHING
FUCKING NOTHING
Because I just finished the nightmare install of my pke push button start, key chop eliminate, complete wire tuck, button relocation, backup camera override, center console replacement with fresh buttons and 4x4 switch relocation.

Fucking hella nice now but God damn what a nightmare to install

Just needs to be cleaned and waxed, really

im going to get my car corner weighted so it will have perfect balance when i hit up the touge with my gf. only problem is i don't know what weight to give them for the passenger seat, as i don't have a gf

Windows tinted (not too dark, still gotta see)
Tail lights tinted if it's not too much $$
Mugen RR spoiler (maybe in a few months)

Just got a new muffler and strut bearing for the right side front. Shit was causing uneven wear.
Need to fix the alignment. It's a tiny little bit off, not a big deal.

Tail light tinting just looks trash AF, please don't do it.

Too much to list honestly

Its mostly Just mods.

Get the dead body smell out of my trunk.

>car wash
>clean interior
>window tint (not too dark)
>drop-in air filter

>negative terminal and the negative lead,
I have a loop ammeter that goes around battery positive lead.

Did this recently right after big alarm install and it read 3.3a which is fuck all huge (should be like 0.03) pulled every fucking fuse under the hood with no effect (pull one put it back) above hundredths of an amp.

We're like wtf, and then my buddy goes, um, how do you zero this meter?

The zero switch short press toggles between zeroed and raw, long press actually zeros the meter. So of courses my buddy had toggles it off zeroing and the 3.3 was a meter artifact!

tl;dr: zero you are fucking meter

The only really hard part was finding the door lock wires under the kick panel.

Basically I researched wire colors for days, started with the ignition harness, sorted and wired about 20 hair fine wires, ended with the door locks, then plugged the unit in, then had to redo the ignition harness (the only "easy" part) FOUR fucking times.

I wound up having to use a FRM01 to establish a longer ground connection on the chip eliminator and one of the abandoned ignition wires to fire it.

Then I had to cram all that shit back into a Japanese dash.

Five solid vacation days after taking apart and ID ing wires. Would not do again.

2003 Chevy Suburban

>transmission replacement (major slippage)
>intake gasket vacuum leak
>both rear tires replaced
>alignment
>overhead A/C panel loose

>third brake light out

Buy something else

Living the AE86 life.

Which list? because they constantly change & endlessly expand.

>Not included: plans for EJ205 swap and LS1 swap respectively.

>New AC unit

Otherwise the usual
>Change oil every 5k miles (2500 to go)

>Every 15k miles
>Run 1/4 can Seafoam in oil 1 week before
>Run the rest through intake

For a 16 year old car my car is in damn fine shape right now
