I don't understand, are you the rare country liberal?

Get the k-swap asap to go seriously fast. Rev hard, drift safe.

>he thinks Californians are moving out of the state because the ocean is rising

It's because the liberal coastal states keep making fucking retarded laws.

Don't worry, traffic will ease up again as a greater and greater share of Americans find themselves too poor to drive.

buy property in the Appalachians or rockies and hope that itll be beachfront property soon. also, put barbed wire and trespassers will be shot survivors will be shot again signs around so you don't have to deal with anyone.

What the fuck is going on here

I don't know but the kike state senate passed a gasoline tax. They went ahead and added a $100 fee to electric car registrations in attempt to fuck everyone over equally

I like guns and believe in climate change. It bewilders everyone I meet.

They want to increase government spending from $140 billion to $400 billion.

So how long did it take you to figure out the climate changes when the sun comes up then goes down?

Climate is long term average weather.
Just because it rained doesn't mean the climate is different than it was yesterday when it was sunny.

My state being retarded. We passed a law increasing gas tax by 12 cents a gallon, ref fees by 75-150 or more based upon your car, with an extra 150 or so thrown on top of you have an electric car. This is for "transportation use only" but in reality like 30% is going to pay back some bonds we have from the last 2 bills that were for tramsportation use only but we're actually just thrown into the gen fund for use elsewhere. based upon the past history I am 100% sure the senate is going to find a way to funnel the other 70% away back into the general fund. This shit makes my blood boil, it only passed because a fucking Repub voted for it because he owns a const. company and is having his term end soon, so the dems offered him part of the 64 billion and rising "high speed rail" to pass through his district so he can build it when he's out. This state is stupid as shit, has been shit since the dems became majority, and will stay shit. It needs to be glassed off the face of the fucking earth.

You need to get out, user.

I want too, but the insane cost of just living makes it fucking hard to do so.
>3 bucks a gallon of gas
>have to drive everywhere
>roads are shit making car maintenance higher
>traffic everywhere wasting gas
>highest income taxes in country
>in fact, top the list in nearly every category for taxes
I make a minimum wage because I'm lucky to even have this job, and even at full time I can barely support myself

>Climate is long term average weather.
How long term.. cause you know it used to be alot hotter... And it used to be alot colder.

Do you know how high co2 levels have been in the past?

>covers illegal immigrants
When do we disavow California?

>I like guns and believe in climate change. It bewilders everyone I meet.
I'm in a similar situation here in Europe. There is no party that represents my interests.

Pro environmental protection
Pro socialism
Not overly SJW
Pro personal liberty (drugs, guns, encryption, net neutrality, euthanasia, suicide aid)

The best I can do is vote Green and Pirate Party. There is no party that wants to loosen gun laws, only small interest groups.

>pro socialism
I don't agree with you but I will avoid making it a gigantic thing. Somebody else will though, I'm sure. I sympathize with lack of a true party.

Moderate socialism, I guess.
It's just my opinion that a janitor, garbage collector or toilet cleaner working 40 hours a week should make a decent living. Their work is important and should be rewarded.

>How long term.. cause you know it used to be alot hotter... And it used to be alot colder.

Earth went through 7 cycles of hot and cold periods over the last 650k years. We're about 7000 years away from the end of the last ice age.

>Do you know how high co2 levels have been in the past?
Yes. Arctic ice core samples show that CO2 levels in the past 650k years were around 300 ppm (parts per million), we're currently at 400 ppm. This can also be proven that it's man-made through measuring the types of carbon isotopes in the atmosphere. Man-made carbon (through burning shit) produces carbon-14. A higher concentration of carbon-14 can be found in the atmosphere, as well as the arctic ice cores having a higher percentage of carbon-14 at the top.

At this point climate change shouldn't even be denied.

>Earth went through 7 cycles of hot and cold periods over the last 650k years.
650k years out of a couple of billion years.
Nice sampling range faggot.

never done anything good with my life
running out of time and born just in time to be obsolete

Janitor here
its so mind numbing and its really hard to believe it makes a difference to anything
should just divert all funds to re establishing trade guild's
at lest that way the dumb people would have something to contribute

While the unwashed masses might not appreciate it, anyone who's worked a crappy job like that does. We're all gonna make it brah.

Are you stupid OP? If water level is rising it won't even be by a noticeable amount in our lifetime

I know that both the CO2 levels and average temperature haven't risen this rapidly in traceable history. By all understandings of science it's impossible for natural fluctuations to make this much of a difference in this short of a time frame.

...

Our ability to even measure these things is relatively new.

You can relatively reliably reduct the historic atmospheric CO2 levels from a variety of samples, such as permanent ice.

feels good to get the lathes and milling machines running properly
and when all the passes on the floor and the lawn line up
>tfw the roomba gets jammed up with swarf

>Do you know how high co2 levels have been in the past?

Yes we have very good research into that and there is a strong correlation between an increase in CO2 levels and an increase in temperature. Not only that we understand the exact measures that cause the latter from the former. Climate change isn't some mad idea from a basement dweller it's heavily backed with evidence.

>oy vey burning fossil fuels is like 50000000000000000000000 billion shoahs

>have literally no further argument
>resorts to memeing

>I'll just disregard all actual arguments and make stupid jokes for a rebuttal instead
Boy, you sure do like making yourself look like a moron.

pho·to·syn·the·sis
ˌfōdōˈsinTHəsəs/Submit
noun
the process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize foods from carbon dioxide and water. Photosynthesis in plants generally involves the green pigment chlorophyll and generates oxygen as a byproduct.

Am I missing something?

The part where we produce CO2 at a far quicker rate than plants can consume even if the foil cover is growing, and the part where the increasing CO2 levels affect temperatures and therefore ecosystems. The Great Barrier Reef isn't dying of boredom.

>Am I missing something?

A clue

So all the money we're supposed to pay because of this, who does it go to and what what will they do with it?

>Pro socialism
>Pro personal liberty

I wasn't talking about money. There's no denying that there are huge deficits in the efficiency of our environmental expenses. The problem is that egocentric yokels deny scientific facts to begin with so you can't even start a conversation about the ideal way to tackle the problem with them.

Just because it's not your understanding of liberty doesn't mean it's not liberty. Some people consider it liberty not having to pay health insurance. Other people consider it liberty being able to go through life not having to worry about bankruptcy when they fall ill.

>"Heh, you never sampled the entire history of the earth and the entire universe, even though my retarded logic doesn't make sense, you made a small fuck up in your explanation so I guess you're wrong go back to college heh."

>Too poor to drive.
There is not such a thing in america.

What makes it refutable, Einstein? Do you need the entire history of the universe too?

I honestly think climate change is not something you choose to believe or not, but rather something thst you accpet or not; there is plenty of proof about the existence of climate change.

That's because modern American urban planning forces driving onto people even if they'd rather not expend the money, and then gas is kept unhealthily cheap so everyone can enjoy the freedom of being forced to drive. Meanwhile there's a $2 trillion deficit in infrastructure renovations and it keeps growing, and Americans are $1 trillion in debt for cars.

what the fuck; liberal socialist?
how high are you

It worked in Australia, seems to be doing just fine in most of western Europe too.

People don't account for externalities that end up costing society more in the long term because if affects their short term profits today. Even Shell had to start evaluating their actions because climate change is beginning to affect their sales.

The issue is more realizing how much were spending is due to our fuckups, then try to use the difference to mitigate our fuckups. That can be abstaining actions, researching ways to fix it, or subsidizing new fixes like renewables. Even fossil fuels are subsidized and researched by the fed.

>transplanting to the south and midwest

skepticalscience.com/argument.php

When living somewhere that million dollar homes are the norm and taxes are insane, people will go where it is the least like that.

If you change the meaning of words enough anything becomes anything. Liberty and socialism are antagonism. Is not liberty to force people to pay for something, no matter how twisted your view of liberty is.

>floods of literal third world """refugees"""
>doing just fine
Enjoy your regular bombings and sharia law.

The only way you can make the benefits available to anyone is by spreading the costs across everyone. If Murrifats get ripped off by healthcare service providers and pharmaceutical companies it's a Murrifat problem, not an inherent problem of mandatory insurance.

>Rising sea levels will only force more people to move inland

Over the course of hundreds of years. Oh noes.

"free" healthcare.

It's expected to rise 2 feet by 2060, and 6 feet by 2100. That's an insane amount. Do you not give a fuck about your kids or theirs?

If socialism is just or if is it fair is another matter entirely. You move the goalposts when you claim that spreading the costs will benefit all. The matter of fact is: socialism does not equal in any way shape or form to liberty or freedom.

no, because youre a faggot, and you should kill yourself to save the country carbon credits with the absence of your breathing

Did your gf dump you for voting for a Cheeto? You seem bootyblasted, friendo.

>Rising sea levels

There are no socioeconomic problems on this planet that can't be solved by a 100 meter rise in the sea level.

Liberals go to the beach see the tide is up must be global warming, ozone hole, climate change. Come back to beach tide is out, must be a drought this year the ocean is really low. I owned a kayak rental business and this is what people said everyday.

everyone believes in climate change
the question (there isn't a question, the answer is no) is about mans impact

these fucking niggers need to get out of my state, that includes you.
I am more likely to die in a car accident because of yankee transplants in south carolina than being shot in chicago

Cali native here I'm moving out too many Mexicans. Too high cost of living, too many people in general. Too many rules and regulations to manage all those people. But where to go with all my California money do I go to some shitty flyover state and buy a small town to gentrify and then flip the real estate. Or do I move to Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Texas, Nevada or Idaho like the rest of the California's with money. I could move to Portland and buy a loft and hang out at coffee shops all day. I could move to Bend and Surf the river everyday. So many choices.

>there isn't a question
You are right we know that man is having a very negative impact on the climate and we can and have proven it.

>. Liberty and socialism are antagonism
No Liberty and Conservatism are antagonism. Learn the meaning of socialism and conservatism before spouting crap.

Stay out of my state you piece of shit

They said we'd be fucked by now 30 years ago. Hasn't happened

You wouldn't be able to manage this density of population with fewer rules and regulations.

Must be why they're avoiding Illinois.

I believe it's real, but don't care. Most of us will be dead by the time it matters so why bother
