>tfw you spent THOUSANDS of hours on Veeky Forums when this time could have been better spent doing something productive

Time you enjoyed wasting is not wasted time, friend

I didn't enjoy it

tfw couple hundred of hours of Veeky Forums led you to tens of thousands of dollars

You spent hours doing it. You must have enjoyed something about it. Even if it was the calmness is doing nothing

I hated every moment of it.

this. I've drastically increased my knowledge base by absorbing info I come across.

im now focused more than ever on investing, working and doing both succesfully

>tfw Veeky Forums made me ambitious

>when this time could have been better spent doing something productive
Actually no. If there was an opportunity to simply "do X, receive money" I could do online instead then sure, but seeing as I have none, and my intelligence and attention span are limited such that reading and posting on Veeky Forums is the apex of productivity for me,

If you can read and post on Veeky Forums you can read and learn something valuable.

>tfw you spent THOUSANDS of hours on Veeky Forums making threads about wasting time on Veeky Forums when this time could have been better spent doing something productive
fixed that for you

yes, i agree. once you filter out the cryptocucks and dropshipping noise, there're wuite a few people on here willing to post and answer great investing/personal finance questions

You posted this on Veeky Forums

>Veeky Forums
>enjoyed

nobody enjoys being here, it's just the only way I can distract myself from my haunting thoughts of failure and inadequacy andcrippling depression

Yeah, but whats the use if I can never apply any such knowledge? Its just mental masturbation, thus I prefer to just go masturbate

But you can apply it... Just like everyone else?

>read books, browse websites, watch videos
>learn stuff, develop deeper understanding of the world
It feels productive to me personally, but doesn't give me the power to objectively effect change. That requires money and power, of which I have none to begin with.
>Just like everyone else?
Huh? Aren't most people just stupid blue-pilled plebeians who can't think their way out of a box?

>That requires money and power, of which I have none to begin with.

You can get started doing things with little money.

What you're doing is called making excuses. One of the best excuses is "I need money to start" - the interesting part is that the quantity is never defined nor can you explain what you need the money for, in detail. And this way it's an excuse that can never be met.

>Aren't most people just stupid blue-pilled plebeians who can't think their way out of a box?

Yeah, kind of like you. They think the people who do things are somehow "special" or gifted in some way and they always need something more to get going, exactly how you're doing actually.

You're like the obese person saying how he's too fat to exercise.

I might be autistic from what a neuropsych told me recently. So what else would I be doing? Working at fucking Goodwill?

Yeah, like I said I can learn about anything, but that doesn't translate into actually doing something, unless it only involves my own mind and body. Can't make something out of nothing.

Are you one of those people who thinks free will exists and individuals are responsible for their own accomplishments, rather than it actually being 99% the result of genetics, upbringing and dumb luck?

Anyways we're talking in vague generalities here, truth be told I'm an atheist nihilist NEET who learned to be happy and content doing nothing, and laughing at the failed normies being depressed because of feeling lonely, lack of sex, being unattractive or some other first world problem.

>Are you one of those people who thinks free will exists and individuals are responsible for their own accomplishments, rather than it actually being 99% the result of genetics, upbringing and dumb luck?

kek okay my dude

iktf OP. At least it's comforting to know I got the 1000s of hours lazing about without having to be a millionaire first

Whatever an individual can do is always limited by their genetics and external environment, and any "success' a person experiences is a lot more based on luck or "soft skills" that autistic people can't develop.

I also have autism, its really disappointing because I lack any special talents, its like the opposite since I completely lack the ability to be "passionate" about anything ever. If I lived in a welfare state I could just live on autismbux, but I'm not retarded enough for free disability in the US.

The grass is a little bit greener. Can't enjoy life to the fullest as a wagecuck because time is severely restricted, can't make the most of the NEET life unless you're rich or have a family benefactor because money is a limiting factor. Nevertheless I'm much healthier and happier because I'm able to live a low stress lifestyle and adapted to being happy alone. Normies can't last long without being part of the system because their fragile sense of self worth and masculinity depends on receiving praise and approval from others.

>Whatever an individual can do is always limited by their genetics and external environment, and any "success' a person experiences is a lot more based on luck or "soft skills" that autistic people can't develop.

How can you know what you're able to do without reaching that potential first?

For example, what if an obese NEET On /r9k/ actually had perfect genetics for bodybuilding but never found out because he never tried and his body was covered by a thick layer of fat?

Or perhaps someone had a great ability for Mathematics but never found out because he gave up at highschool-level math over something minor like not liking his teacher?

>that autistic people can't develop.

There's loads of successful autistic people though. But you're just going to claim they got lucky to justify your laziness.

But crypto is what made me rich.Nowadays, I've mostly (60%) moved on to more traditional investment vehicles but that's where I got 99% of my wealth. Without it I wouldn't have the starting capital to even form a portfolio.

*tips fedora*

>Can't enjoy life to the fullest as a wagecuck because time is severely restricted

Time really isn't that restricted, you still got plenty of time and you learn to organize your time better.

I tried just about everything and I either suck at it, its beyond my physical limitations or bores me to death. I happened to have actually tried the examples you mentioned: Carefully researched and executed bodybuilding could not make me stop being a skinny manlet, and I couldn't pass anything beyond high school level math because my brain is very slow to process the material and very mentally clumsy and was also incredibly boring, compared to reading about social science, philosophy or art.

Yeah as you know, lots of autists have special talents, but that isn't always the case. I'm the other type that never really becomes interested in anything and wasted my youth daydreaming and masturbating.

And yes, successful autists are lucky int hat they have charming qualities that make up for their socially inept robot qualities and/or the support of friends who accept them.

To put it in perspective, lets say you are born with superior alpha Chad looks to wealthy parents in a big family and they own a successful family business. No matter how low IQ or autistic you are, you could be given opportunities to just "do X, receive money." Comparatively, someone with zero connections, capital, or aptitude can't do much of shit- unless they're super competent at some computer based activity and can sit in front of the computer a long time without eventually succumbing to masturbation and loosing all motivation to do anything productive

>could not make me stop being a skinny manlet,

What have you tried?

Your body does not defy the laws of physics. If you eat and lift progressively heavy things you build muscle, every man can do it, unless you have low testosterone, in which case you can STILL do it, and even get trt and remedy the problem easily.

Same with math or whatever else, even mental retards can learn things and fulfill jobs and make money. I bet you don't have any diagnosed mental deficits or any other problems with your head.

You're just a lazy fuck looking for excuses to do nothing. I don't even know why you're on Veeky Forums, you belong on /r9k/. With the rest of the excuse-makers.

Whatever dude, enjoy feeling sorry for yourself. Good luck with your eventual suicide

h-how much did you make, senpai?

You're projecting.

Point 1: If you're idea of free time is getting to dick around on the computer or cellphone to you're heart's content, then it wouldn't bother you. But if you actually like to go outside and do things during the day then your happiness would be hampered big league if you are forced to take traditional full time shift work.

Point 2: When you count all the time between preparing for work to having to go to sleep at a set time to go back to work the next day, there is only 3 hours at most free time a day. Obviously more if you live a block away from your job and need only 5 hours of sleep, but I'm not like that. I have a slow pace of life and can never stick to a schedule and compartmentalize time. This is referred to as "Type B personality" in pop psychology. I get pleasure from being free to wake up whenever and have no deadlines, plans or obligations the whole day, or week, or month. Some say the opposite is true, that they get depressed if they don't have responsibilities and time commitments.

Whatever, I am lazy, I take long showers, sleep in until I wake up naturally, and can't sit for more than 10 minutes without shifting and squirming around or needing to stand up.

>But if you actually like to go outside and do things during the day then your happiness would be hampered big league if you are forced to take traditional full time shift work.

8 hours a day leaves you with another 8 hours of free time besides sleep.

And besides, how much of that freetime are you using?

>there is only 3 hours at most free time a day

8 hours - work
8 hours - sleep

8 hours left of freetime a day not including weekends or holidays.

But yeah you're right. Being a NEET lends you much more freetime. Now can you fill me in on what you do for 16 hours a day?

Let me guess, you must be working on some big project? Maybe having sex everyday with different girls?

Maybe you're learning advanced whatever in some subject?

Where's all your freetime going to bro. How long have you been a NEET. Let's multiple that times 365, times 16 hours(time you have free a day, minus sleep).

What exactly have you accomplished in those many thousands of hours? What do you have to show for it? Must be far more than some wagiecuck, right?

Yeah, I built muscle which I only used to lift weights and it boosted my sense of fragile masculinity. I stopped lifting after I develop an internal sense of self esteem and accepted that I'm not attractive or masculine. This was 3 years ago when I went full MGTOW and just stopped giving a fuck and never got depressed again.

Sure I could do math, eventually, but it was such a slow and tedius process that there wasn't even enough time to finish assignments, and racking my brain staring at paper and textbook actually made be feel sad, I wanted to feel something and move my body.

I'm diagnosed with "high functioning autism spectrum disorder" and am a lazy fuck, and this is an obvious /r9k/ tier thread on Veeky Forums. I used to browse /b/ then /r9k/ now mostly Veeky Forums and /pol/ because I like to learn things, and all Veeky Forums is the same in some sense. I'm actually one of the happiest people on Veeky Forums, and that only boosts my laziness, since if people feel shame or depression because they are a failure they are motivated to change, but if I no longer care what other people think and have a subjective internal happiness compass, then I can do jack shit and give no fucks

TIME YOU ENJOY WASTING IS NOT TIME WASTED!

>This was 3 years ago

1095 * 16
= 17520

This is how much freetime you had as a NEET. What do you have to show for it?

How's your parents reaction? Did they give up on you? What is their face coming home from a long day's work to see you lounging around as usual?

>8 hours free time a day
hmmm... Mandatory unpaid lunch break, commute time, eating, shitting, showering, and needing to be in bed and try to fall asleep on time next day. Not uncommon for it to be 12 hours between when you leave for work and return, and then like 2 hours of actual "free time" where you might watch TV, go to the gym, fap or some shit. Basically work sleep repeat more or less, ideal for people who are content with a sedentary lifestyle with plenty of screen time, not for an outdoorsy active person. Just having jury duty made be temporarily sad because of sitting so much and only having 3 hours to go for a walk after.

Being NEET is only better because lack of stressors, but I'm not able to make the most of it, fun or productivity wise because lack of resources. But I couldn't do much of anything as a wagecuck because no time, its a lose/lose situation unless I manage to somehow become wealthy and NEET at the same time. Otherwise enjoying my 30s NEET and poor is better than being a slave so I can finally be free and rich when I'm old and frail.

>Otherwise enjoying my 30s NEET and poor is better than being a slave so I can finally be free and rich when I'm old and frail.

How old's your mommy?

will she still be around in your 30's? How's she feel about this whole situation?

...

Who do I have to show what for? I had lots of fun, life was filled with smiles and laughs, joy and euphoria, and whatever negative feelings I dealt with were far better than what I'd experience as a careerperson. I wasted lots of time with masturbation and porn addiction, but in my experience when I had jobs it didn't go away just resulted in sleep deprivation staying up late fapping and being late to work. I lived a good life and am satisfied, I'd like to live another 60 years in good health and enough provisions, but if not it's okay, I enjoyed myself the best way I know how, death is not to be feared, or is it to be sought after.

Just curious what you did is all.

I admit, you had a lot more freetime than me. I'm just interested if I got more accomplished in 1/3rd of the freetime as you.

I'm just also considering joining you and becoming a NEET, but I'm just interested in what there is to do besides eat tendies and masturbate

Older than your grandma, but healthy. I don't care what she thinks, she brought me into this world and I have no moral reservations about being a genetic dead end and leeching off of her support until she dies.

>
what will you do when she dies

Kneepads and vaporub?

I went for long walks and mountain hikes, went to the beach a lot, did lots of yoga classes, go out to eat with my mother and eat whatever is at home. Indoors I have been on the computer most of the time, I watch sitcoms, documentaries, all sorts of youtube videos and hundreds of music genres, made over 9000 Veeky Forums posts, read millions of threads, blog posts, news articles, wikipedia entries, etc. And of course, tons of daydreaming and masturbating.

Accomplishment is relative and subjective. I accomplished something having fun, but it does the opposite of earn me status and money.

I dunno, liquidate assets, consolidate savings, and plot an escape to someplace where I can live a low stress minimalist lifestyle with maximum freedom and enough provisions. Until then though, I stay here because even though this is a shitty apartment where I sleep in the living room, it would be retarded to pay rent when I don't have to. Still plenty of time for me to come up with some kind of marketable skill or side hustle where I can generate some income without a day job. Also casually looking for part time wagecuck opportunities, but its unlikely anyone will hire me if they find out I was NEET 3 years and my education consists of a masters degree in masturbating.

its god trying to stop us from becoming too powerful

This desu, Veeky Forums has both been terrible and amazing for me

Truth

This.

It's like a backwards circus. There is straight autism going on in the crowd. The performers are the 4 visitors without mental problems.

Absolute shitshow.

It's calming to know that there are depressed people here with me bit it's still fairly safe to be alone and fucking yell at a bitch when needed.

Mfw to autistic to get a job at goodwill

Livestream still the preferred method or should I do it and have the guys write and article at keklel.org?

>You can get started doing things with little money.
Do you happen to know of a way to get started with no money?
I can learn just about anything (I'm the OP from this thread: 1735120) and need something to make a little bit of money without spending many months learning stuff.
Do you have any idea? You seem to know what you're talking about.

thats what i thought after browsing /b/ for hours a day
