I like lucifer and the angels just as much as the next guy but they're usually just chaos-neutral, law-neutral, or chaos-good and law-good. and of course neutral is never presented as anything other than bad.

I thought that the Divine Powers and Dagda were because reasonable because humans had no plan except wait for Flynn to show up and solve their problems, or rescue Flynn. Why settle for Flynn when they could have gone for a Famed Nobunaga?

Just beat Apocalypse Law ending. What the fuck was that dogshit story. Game did not know whether it wanted to be SMT or Persona and missed the point of both. Probably the worst megaten I've played narrative wise.

DamNot supposed to go law, that's the white ending of the game. Needing to go bonds or kill your friends.

I'll play the "true" ending next, just wanted to see what the law had to offer since I prefer following my heart with these games and picked Law in the previous game. The game sucks neutral route cock like there's no tomorrow and shoots the premise of the series at it's own foot.

Voted Strange Journey and I didn't really expect to. I loved the characters and the actual game part is decent too, plus the password stuff.

Voted for P4 and the game featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series. But that's more because of I played them first rather than overall quality of the games themselves.

I'm pleasantly suprised how many people are voting for Strange Journey.

Finishing a palace two weeks earlier and having every single day free to do whatever you want is so refreshing.

I just got it, pretty happy so far but I'm not very far in (halfway through 1st dungeon.)
Only major complaint is how unfun Merciless difficulty seems, I don't like the way the buff to crits makes it impossible to hold up. Plus, the exp reduction seems to be there to just encourage grinding, which, gross. Thinking I'll finish this dungeon on Hard, consider switching back later maybe. But if it mostly just increases grindness I'll have no reason to switch back.
Also the prices for the dlc are pretty ridic, especially since it's just the battle theme and victory jingle? And only one of each per pack? That's not really a major complaint though, just a bit of a disappointment. I'm actually pretty fond of BLAHDY DESTINYYYYY for example but it'd be nicer to have the option of that or the original battle music. Plus other good tracks for the dungeon bgm itself. I might buy one if I get tired of the regular music or if the go on sale, but they're not very appealing at the current price:content ratio. Also, character specific costumes instead of a generic uniform would've been better.

Bonds is treated as slightly more law leaning though. Note that maitreya, a pseudo chaos character has the same emphasis on individuality as dagda. And dagda is dark to bonds' light. Law is light law and chaos is dark chaos, so you get the idea that they do have some similarities to those sides. Bonds is about people getting along and chaos is about them doing their own thing after all.

Its bad enough that it did this. The fact that it crammed this into IVs world which did not itself do this was pretty retarded. It basically totally changed the connotations of ivs plot.

Because atlus is not very creative. They struggle to mix up law and chaos' connotations since they want a very specific paradigm to shine through in most games. For there to be an outright villain side they would either have to want something that -no- side wants, or simply be doing it so shitty that nobody wants to put up with it.
