It's not OK when they respawn infinitely and exclusively aim for you. The prey AI is good, they "cheer you on" but WILL attack you if you come close or if the monster goes away.

as someone who only started monster hunter a few months ago, I figured go with what is considered the hardest (MHFU) to learn, get gud & generally not be an embarrasment to any future multiplayer team in later games. Now you get shit for playing the older ones first? I dont even know anymore.

nothing to do with taste, after finishing a hunt i want to check messages or whatever outside of the game, but theres no pause in villages. Theres nothing wrong with the music itself but after 100+ hours of any 40 second loop of music you want to stab someone.

at the moment ive put at least 100 hours into FU (maining HBG) and close to the same hours in P3rd (maining greatsword). I got a 3ds less than a week ago and was thinking of playing them in order starting with 3U. Should I skip straight to 4U or go right to generations or MHXX?

Gen/XX are definitely the ones you should skip.

MH was balanced for years around weapons with minor changes between the games, and its worked pretty well in most cases.

Styles and Arts threw that out the fucking window into a train driving into the sun. Literally every single fight in X/XX is the most casual MH game by miles because those exist. "You dont have to use it" is an excuse used by idiots trying to justify a developers failure to balance their game.
