EO2U has all classes EOU has plus War Magus, Beast, Sovereign and Fafnir.
It also has a free DLC that has all EOU portraits and any portraits that were ever used for promotional art.
In short: when it comes to portraits EO2U has everything EOU has and way, way more.

Still they are remakes of EO and EOII and general art improvement means EOIII has more actually cute boys - but at least the Prince class (renamed Sovereign) is in EO2U and they have some good portraits.

Without Improved Link you have one activation.
To get 5 you would need to leave Improved Link at 3 which at least allows you to get Link Mastery.

You've probably given her a katana grimoire - natively Protector can only use swords and spears.
I'm not sure if you can get a katana grimoire in story mode. But if it is possible then yes - story characters can in fact equip katanas and use them for none of their skills.
At least there is Limitless, am I right? Haha... ... ...

Since you can no longer just forge any shit you want on weapons they would actually only be used for their respective skills instead of being secondary accessoires.
