If they put the same boost pressures on a v8, it would make more power than a v6.
They simply dont make similar engines to compare to.

I'm interested to see what GMC does. The rumors about a mid engine Corvette seem to be true now. EPA laws are going to kill V8s.

Its all rumors right now. Some sites say the V8 will probably be dropped and others say its going to stay. Personally, I think that between the camaro, stang and challenger, the Mustang GT will lose its V8 before the other two will. The Hemi in its current form is ancient as fuck. Time will tell I suppose.
