Cam, heads, exhaust. Ive thought about adding more power, but it's reliable as it is and I like how balanced the car feels at 400 hp. One of my coworkers has 575 hp c5 and it feels like way too much.

One of my co-workers has a C5 Z06. Cool car. He's done a bit of work to it; cam, exhaust, intake, tune, suspension.

The only Corvettes worthy of respect are the Z06 and up. Some boomer's Z51 package doesn't count.

Tbh, the Z is a very good deal for what you pay for (>$20k), but so is the cheaper base model. I've driven both and the liftback is a great choice because of the extra cargo volume and removable/replaceable targa top.

Yeah, I love the targa. I understand the FRC is stiffer and that's why they used it for the Z06, but I was never really a fan of the notchback look.

If you're handy with a wrench you can build a base for cheaper but labor is all you. But I prefer the hardtop look. They are led for what it's worth. The halo ring is really only visible at dusk/night but the brake light is definitely visible any time.
Really? My fbody felt way more relaxed. You actually had the ability to lean back and I felt like I had way more leg stretch room. My z06 definitely feels tighter.
