If you like cars, why don't you like motorcycles

literally any bike over say 600cc
>0-60 under three seconds
>joyful feedback and lightweight handling
>japanese reliability available
>most bikes are cheaper than an econobox

Nah man, 500cc is plenty for me. The little brother 350 had a really bad influence on me.
Oh you mean 4 stroke? Isn't that for dirt bikes?

Expect a lot of normies saying

>i don't want to die
>i don't want people to think i'm a "rude" driver because bikers "cut in line"

> >600cc
> Lightweight handling
Pick one.

Have you never ridden a sportbike in your life?

An r1 has perfectly lightweight handling.

Have you?

This is like NA miatas vs. MK3 supras but the miatas are actually still fast, just not as fast

What the fuck are you comparing them to? A bicycle?

Because other drivers are dangerously stupid enough even with side airbags?

Because i don't like to expose myself, i travel very often and i give lifts.
plus, cars have noise cancellation. Which is great to play some /mu/

>miatas are actually still fast
lmao

'Cutting in line' makes traffic move FASTER for cars.

Imagine putting a miata next to a high end sports car in a drag race. The miata only falls behind a little, up until 80mph then it's like it's standing still.

That's what it's like to compare a big bike and a small bike.

Yes, but it makes them mad because their vocabulary contains phrases like "cut me off", which means "someone changed lanes in front of me so now i have to tailgate them instead of tailgate the person who was in front of me originally and i feel like i will arrive later because there are more people in front of me reeeee" or, tldr "i am a self centred cunt with an IQ of 80."

I listen to audiobooks and podcasts way more than music, so I find headphones on a motorcycle works fine.

If you want to give lifts to wayward young ladies keep a spare shortie helmet on your bike.

Had one, prefer my car.

My car is more comfortable, sounds better and looks better (my opinion of course). I just can't look at a bike and thing "yeah that one looks great"

I suppose this question is the equivalent of a car guy asking a normie why they dont like cars. The answer is simply that we aren't interested.

>if you like cars, why don't you like motorcycles
But I do

Sweet bro, very nice.

>The miata only falls behind a little, up until 80mph then it's like it's standing still.
>That's what it's like to compare a big bike and a small bike.

No it's not. A big bike will absolutely destroy the small bike, and the small bike will be left miles behind, not even close

The 500 is just a random picture.
Had a RD350 YPVS with stainless micron pipes, and to be honest that was plenty fast for me.
But if I ever find a 500 RD or RG for sale, I'll probably get it just as a novelty and ride it once a year to keep it and myself alive.
Twostrokes just makes me ride like an idiot in general.

Im not poor
I enjoy life
I like cornering fast
I like wearing casual clothes and not looking like someone off of an amateur BDSM porno set
I like going fast being comfortable
I like carrying things around
I like being a polite and caring person

A sport bike can probably outcorner anything short of an actual racecar my dude

yea... but when you're giving a lift for 3 people and carrying 2 fat luggages, bikes really become a burden... huh.

This.
It doesn't matter how expensive a bike gets, it's still a poor man's transportation method. Very limited.

Mad your shitbox lost to a motorcycle?

Come again?
What's my car?

Have you considered that the people bumming rides off you all the time might be a burden?

No, because they're cool and i like them.
So, bike owners are egotistical bigots?
huh... interesting.

Pretty sure he called your car a shitbox

Egotistical because I don't cart people and their luggage around? I am not a taxi driver user I don't know why you caught feelings over that.

Pretty sure its true

t. has never ridden a motorcycle

Shitbox you dumbfuck

I'll write it slow and clear, okay?
He has no idea which car do i own, and he's automatically calling it a shitbox.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't know why you brought up that point, you knew (or may not knew) that this conclusion was coming.

I didn't catch the cold, it's just a bad argument that leads to a bad conclusion for your side.

To be honest i just like 125cc enduro bikes for casual strolling around the countryside and town, plenty fast and enjoyable

Car:
>hit a pothole
>feel a bump, driving unaffected

Motorcycle:
>hit a pothole
>fucking die

T.hanks, never rode a bike!

>why don't you like motorcycles
>implying I don't
Nigger my setup is shitbox for utility and bike for fun (and daily commute, parking a bike is a joke near my workplace, a nightmare for a car).
Dog bless my sweet old Cagiva for rescuing me from commuting by bus when I was in high school.

>have car for trips
>truck for truck stuff
>bikes as toy's
FIGHT ME FAGGOTS

Motorcycle:
>don't hit the pothole if you're attentive because motorcycles only have one track, not two
The worst in this regard are trikes because they have three tracks. Impossible to avoid potholes that even a car would clear.

Natural selection will take care of bike poorfags

>have car for everything
>trailer for "truck" things that aren't actually truck things, like 90% of "truck" things
>bikes as toys

Can't take my hatchback offroading silly. Truck is more convenient and fun for me

Ohhhh you should have just said you were a faggot up front.

Welcome to Veeky Forums you flaming newfag.

Thanks.

Australia?

how do you get anywhere on the bike with out being pulled over, twice?

An autist among us autists

Not so quickly, Mr. Implier.

Cool. But I have no need to modify a fwd golf in automatic for what my truck is able to do already

>implying

My bike was expensive, am I cool yet?

Wrong

>No it's not. A big bike will absolutely destroy the small bike, and the small bike will be left miles behind, not even close
No. The small bike will rocket off the line, and cut a big lead for the first little bit. Then once the big bike has overcome inertia, it will rocket past the small bike and exceed the small bike's speed limiter.

I ride a 125 and can keep up with big bikes in traffic and twisties, then lose them on the straights before finding them again in traffic.

>have bike as daily/grocery getter
>truck as a personal tow truck+ "Just Truck Things"
>cars for pussies
FIGHT ME FAGGOTS

Because physics and I seen and heard countless tales of dudes going down due to incompetent drivers.

Enjoy your boring and dangerous riding nerd. I'll be comfy year round and all weather types too.

I was an avid biker through college. Lived in Galveston, constantly surrounded by idiot tourist drivers.
Didn't care, loved bikes. Always felt free, even though I knew the risk and had a few scares. Anytime I didn't have a bike, i longed for a new one.

Move to Mobile AL, long for a bike, so i get one. 2 weeks later I sell it because people here drive worse than your averave Asian woman driver.
>no blinkers
>red lights are merely a suggestion.
>speed limits dont matter
>EVERYONE thinks they have the right of way.
>even had some nignog clip my rear wheel when he was trying to over take me and then chimped out at the stop light for scratching his bumper.

Honestly havent wanted a bike since i sold my last one. Probably helps that it's rained every day for the last 2 months.

My bike is a 650cc and it takes about 5 seconds 0-60. That's still better than any car in that price range though.

Because driving around my city's drivers is scary enough in a car

>The small bike will rocket off the line, and cut a big lead for the first little bit

You're either riding with people that can't launch for shit or you're talking about the first 100 yards. Either way you sound like a pretentious cunt.

0-20, you can't beat a 125 of the line, if the rider knows how to shift. That's all it takes to get away.

January.

>it's still a poor man's transportation method
that doesn't have anything do with the enjoyment of a motorcycle.
almost any modern 600cc+ motorcycle will completely demolish upwards of 99% cars on the road and the experience of riding a bike to the limit is incredible, it's just not something you can get in a car.

I have both. for comfort and practicality my car is the best, for actual enjoyment nothing tops a motorcycle.

faggot.
