Just started yesterday, the game feels really slow and boring right now. I picked conjurer and every single encounter has been the same and each quest has been go get some shit or go talk to some guy.
Lore has been interesting but the actual gameplay isn't doing for me, world is beautiful though.
Currently level 14, question is is this game not for me or should I press on?

Get to 15 and try some dungeons out, see if you like that aspect of the game before you decide to quit or not. To me, most of the healing classes start off pretty slow.

I've strategically avoided making friends in this game, senpai

CNJ has one of the most boring quest line starts. In my opinion dungeons/group content are the more fun aspects of the game. Levels 1~30 are basically toddler tutorial mode, and levels 1~50 are tutorial mode 2.0. 50~60 the game gets a lot better. If you just follow the MSQ you'll be there in about a week or two of casual play

Healer is one of the more fun classes to play when you know what you're doing, but try some of the other roles out before dismissing things. DPS can be refreshing, and tank imo is one of the easiest/fun roles in later levels

Wow the ARC quests are awful. It feels like they couldn't think of anything compelling to do, so they just said "fuck it, target practice". Now that I've done all of the class quests for everything else, I can say that ARC is the worst by a wide margin.
