its not that it hasnt been smoked in, its the "never been vaped in" part that is unique. Just out of curiosity, is there any way to calmly DD a Subaru without lugging the turbo? I've always been driving NA cars so I have no relevant experience, but people have told me that they take forever to spool (i.e. 3 grand).

they literally floor it so when they let off the gas their atmos-BOV makes the loud hiss and the turbo stutters. They arent even going over thirty, and they only do it when there are other cars or pedestrians around. Lugging is essentially straining the engine when its unnecessary, so as long as you were to drive normally, you wouldn't really cause issues. Power by gear and proper gear choice are essential to turbocharged engine longevity.
