there are grapplers with charge moves such as Alex. the throws themselves usually aren't charge but why would they be? that would be so annoying to deal with.

Fighting games are God's gift to the skilled. You have to be genetically chosen in order to be good at these games. Sure you can practice and practice but you will never be better than the Chosen. And what happens when those Chosen ones decide to put in the practice and grind? You're nothing, you'll be left in the dust. To be good at fighting games puts you higher on the hierarchy than those good in different genres. I'd hate to be someone talented at shooters or MOBAS-- such second-rate talent wasted on mediocre genres.
