Explain zeroing to me

Can't they tell from where voice comms are comming? Aren't you simply just blasting your position via bagpipes?
I wouldn't know since I disabled voice comms.

Doesn't really work on ARs.

Game has been running very smooth since patch and didn't really have any big issues before it as well. But as of today it runs like complete garbage, with 20fps where I had 100+ before. Also sounds are completely fucked up.

Is it just me or did they break the game?

If it would be working atm it would be like this:

Even if zeroing did work I probably wouldn't use it because I'm terrible at judging distances

You can just look at the map and use the squares to judge distance.

There's always too little time to play around with zeroing as people as constantly moving. You're better off just aiming higher or lower depending on the distance if it ever comes to that. If it was as slow paced as arma 2 dayz BR, then zeroing makes sense.

You pre-zero for the expected engagement distance of course. It's not like people pop out of the ground, they appear in semi-predictable places.

4x and 8x scopes come already with the 100m markers so only the upcoming scopes without inbuilt markers would need zeroing adjustments. Aside from holo, rds and holo ofc

You say that, but then I run with my 8x scope towards a direction, turn around, and a guy pops out at 10m range chasing me with a shotty. I end up killing him zoomed in on his nose. It might be one example but people are always hiding and pop up when least expected if you're the one moving.

Nth for discord is becoming a cesspit.

Zero hardly matters much at that close a range.

Playing solo in duos is a great way to get top 5.

I made friends in the game by playing duo with randoms and joining their discord, yes.

I have more fun and success in solo than in squads.

Bypassing battleye is a expensive process you gotta use signed drivers and shit and takes some time. Once you done that its undetected forever unless you share it too much or make it public.

In solo I prefer to see how many people I can stalk and then surprise-kill rather than trying to win. It usually gets me killed sooner or later, but it's fun and very satisfying when I manage lots of kills.

The trick is to spot people moving because of the circle. It's easier now that you can lay hidden in the grass or bushes.

I thought M416 did less damage than all other AR's as it has higher rate of fire

Obviously I can spray in CQC and win if I don't get fucked by hit detection, though I'm not good enough at close range movement to win reliably, but it's in the the rapid-fire range mid-range I get truly fucked.
