Posting original content is sorely needed. Veeky Forums was never good, but it was better when there was a wealth of posters who actually went out into the garage/driveway and did stuff to their cars. Even if some dumb kid was putting
a CAI on a Civic or rolling fenders on his Miata, making a thread with pics or webm's is better than nothing.

I feel that we need a sticky or a general for wrenching, tools and general advice, and a sticky for learning how to drive a stick. A lot of people these days are turned off on buying a cool project because they can't wrench or work a clutch.

Some people don't like generals but I'm all for them, as they're a good place for specific tastes and more technical discussion.

Finally, we need mods and janitors that do their jobs and prune bad or stupid threads. WUT CAR IZ GUD, Vette vs GTR, and obvious shitpost threads are cancer. Repeat offenders (looking at you Alphonse) need to be range/ISP banned

Some of the streets in Tokyo were so tight that I was surprised they're even meant to have cars drive on them. Tokyo is definitely not the city I would want to drive in. If you live near the Shinjuku area or something, there is literally no reason to own a car.
