/dsg/ - Demon's/Dark Souls General

All the armor in the game was light so there was no poise. If anything weapons had their own "poise damage" but there was no way to "increase" your poise or poise damage.

I've never used the heavier weapons (Kirk, and Ludwig's) for very long, so I don't remember how susceptible they are to interruption, but I don't think BB really has poise.

I know that those weapons hit like a mack truck and stagger like a motherfucker, and that Ludwig's untricked long sword can stunlock you.

Weapon specific HA, and stubs never lasted longer than two hits.

Yes it would, because then they'd have to commit to a cast or a roll and waste fp with it, meaning you could punish them for opening with a poise casted arrow. If you have a mainhand arbalest and a lothric knight shield on your offhand you'll most likely always win a trade this way.
Nope, it was not an issue because the good weapons like saif could run laps around them before they could even swing.

There were a lot less weapons in BB than in any other souls game. This allowed them to almost completely balance every one of them. Furthermore, all of them felt special and unique in their own way. Even though there was only a handful of em, people were encouraged to try all the weapons instead of just one or two.

I wish they would have done a SotFS redo for the fire fades just to spice it up by changing the spawns and placements of stuff inside of DS3 so I could have a new experience playing it.

I've made and geared all 10 slots for invader builds, and theres nothing new or exciting about pve anymore, aside from deleting one just to make a sl1 runthrough,

Nope. MLGS is single stat scaling with int.

Northern Armour is great.
The Boots/gloves work well with the Follower/Millwood sets.

And the Northern Helm works well with the Slave Knight armour, in my opinion.

Greatsword of Judgement has more AR when you go Dex/Int than going Str/Int

How do I kill anyone on a faith build without using a Crucifix? Please help, I whack them twice and they roll away or I get poiselocked by huge weapons. My spells almost never hit and when they do they only do about 1/3-1/2 of someones health (60 faith with yorshkas).

There's an hidden decimal so sometimes you fatroll and sometimes you don't

The way Dark Souls calculates numbers and values is so weird that I (and many others) have had builds where we're at 70.0% in the menu, and on one build we'll fast roll and another we'll fat roll. You just have to get lucky I suppose.
