So no joke, a week ago I was writing the outline to this story on a steno pad and just left it lying on my workstation while I started to perform closing duties in my lab. Suddenly the whole lab and surrounding hospital floor is evacuated upstairs because somehow a bottle of picric acid in the histology department was found crystallized (rendering it explosive), and the police/bomb disposal were called. Some of us had to go back to wrap up sensitive reactions on patient specimens and I bullshitted my way back to the virology department under this premise, but really it was just to secure the steno pad and keep my lewd storyboards from the eyes of the next shift.
