aldritch area on release was the most fun i've had in a souls game

Just reinstalled for Ringed City and I'm getting the white screen crash on startup. Did anyone ever figure out a fix to that? It ran flawlessly before.

It makes a big blob of poison gas at the feet of whatever you're aiming at, as long as it's not very far away. It's handy for bosses that are big blobs and don't move too much if other phantoms keep them roughly stationary.

I like these better than the default animation for one handing and two handing the claymore.

Does anyone else get some significant fps drops at AoA?

It's an AoE damage cloud that deals very good damage. Great against slow bosses.

I tried using it on twin Prince and it didn't seem to deal much damage.

Just learn the range of it and use it without lock on. That's what I do against Midir with my Pyromancer.

Unlike other poison type spells, the poison doesn't linger when things are out of the cloud, but as long as things stay IN the cloud, they take a shitload of damage(provided they're not resistant).

It looks too float for a sword of that size, but I wouldn't mind non-shouldered animations for regular looking U/GSs like the Claymore and Astora.

Maybe contextual animations so that it all smoothly flows together. Stopping after a downward swing will have your sword rest like pic-related. Stopping after an upward swing will have the sword come to rest on the shoulder like standard.
