Opinion that no one shares/literally only I have: I prefer the Supra in every possible way to the FD/R32/R34/NSX.

Plenty of Supra fanboys exist.

R33 a best. BEST.

...

>only faggot op liked the puma

then how do you explain it's huge success back then?
they're all one with the soil by now though. those rusting fucks.

r30 best skyline.

My 09 speed3 with a bunch of Cobb parts inc. Stage 2+ is faster/more fun than all other boiracers/ muscle car normiefags on Veeky Forums but I'll still never get the recognition I deserve.

I think diesel hatchbacks are dope

and coincidentally you also drive a diesel Punto

I drive a Volvo C30, and I've always loved how the 3 door Stilo was like the unrelated italian predecessor of the C30, except bad and not as cool looking, but I still love seeing them on the road and I'd probably be driving one if the C30 didnt exist and Fiat had a good reputation

no I drive a petrol hatch, wish I got a diesel

...

The proper version of OP's post

Oh man I'd love a C30, except it sold like ass in my country except for the diesel versions.

I think the '05 gen mustangs were the worst ever built, although the 2nd gen comes close

...

>probably gonna get downvoted for this, but

Dat ass.

That's like the equivalent of a 333-lb black cougar woman with fake tits and fake weave - but with all-natural cellulite. She'll lock you in a room, tie you up, feed you cialis, then grind you until your dick is sore and you're screaming for mercy.

R33 is best grill, yes.

It's not a common car, but I've never heard of someone disliking 928s.

Dope underdog aesthetic.

Gross!

The new NSX is not only better than the last one but will go down as one of the best cars Honda ever made even if it isn't appreciated by the generation who grew up with the last one.

390Z WHEN

Nobody really likes the NSX dude. It's too heavy and too complicated and doesn't have the spirit of the old model.

>go to ATL Motor Speedway
>spend 20 bucks
>drive this beast at full speed
>max out at 125 mph going around
>no fucks given

>Unpopular opinion thread
>Hey, man. your opinion is unpopular
>New nsx doesn't tick my boomer feels
Tell me something i don't know.

>driving a overpriced Focus with presumably a Ford or PSA engine
>somehow better than a Stilo
Yeah, no.

The only "cool" thing about the C30 is the kammback.

Im out running saturday errands in one right now ;)

I know it's a prius underneath but I love the way it looks.

Criticize me if you will, but the Lincoln Mark V is one of my all-time favorite vehicles.

i remember this car from midnight club 2
it doesn't get enough vidya recognition and i wish they'd add more to racing vidya

Unpopular second favorite small SUV.

...

People only dislike it because it's not exactly the same as the old one. Only reason I see thrown around is REEEE hybird and REEEE it's not muh NA simple honda with engine behind me.

Funny thing is most of the people bitching have probably never driven an old NSX, let alone the new one. I mean I love the old NSX and admire how it did it, but honestly most of the hate stems from the fact they used the NSX name. Ironically I bet if they called it something else more people would be fine with it, and some of them would probably even wonder why they didn't call it the NSX.

Worst gen is best gen

I love these little cars

Dunno why but I never see people talking about these.

...

The party piece of the Envoy is that you can convert it from SUV to truck. You can slide the rear of the roof forwards, retract the tailgate window and erect a midgate behind the seats.

Sadly, this being GM, it was a complete pile of shit.

I love these, they look amazing in the flesh

Patrician taste my dude

...

this desu, they look great.

...

...

Now this one's completely lost on me.

>we want the minivan audience BUT with eight feet of car in front of the driver BUT with a wedge shape so it's impossible to see where it even ends

I think the RX-8 is cool and doesn't afraid of anything

...

Grandpa spec e39

I specifically love the later versions. The last model year of this body style, 1990 had those motorized seatbelts.
>tfw want to do a pro touring style 1990 Caprice

R31 is better. As far as my favorite car that no one else likes, it's got to be a Volvo 780

Rx-7 one of my favs

...

Haven't met any, then. Always see it getting compared unfavorably.

Sounds like a Reddit thing to say.

One of my eternal dream cars. Like it just as much now as I did back then.

I like folding hardtops

I can top that.

I like targa tops and I'd get the targa version of a car over the coupe version even if it meant higher weight and worse chassis stiffness.

>The nostalgia you feel when you remember stabbing Vinny "The Wop" Biagitoni with an icepick behind the ear in a lincoln just like that one and dumping his bloated, pasta filled body into the hudson river
Ahhhhh, that takes me back

t. guy who saw get shorty too many times

I agree with exactly this. I'd take a targa over a hardtop any day, regardless of any detriment.

If BMWs weren't so horribly expensive to repair i would love and care for a 5 series wagon forever, same thing applies to the volvo v70
Fuck yuros and their 1000 dollar imported parts

I think the diesels were pretty sturdy from what I've gathered

I may legitimately be the only person in the universe ever to like the Pontiac Aztek. I do acknowledge that it is the ugliest piece of shit ever devised; I just really like the idea of a tent-car.

...

...

Honestly the Honda Element and the rest of the boxes that spawned from it were much uglier than the Aztek was and tried to capitalize on the same marketing

>tfw grandpa owned this
>it will be eventually passed down to me
>one of the few things that remind me of him
I can't hate it

the PT CRUISER is my guilty pleasure. Fucking tons of room and comfy. Good visibility and handling is very good given the size. The engine is bulletproof and stock internals will handle 300+hp.
And personally, I think they look cute.

I like it more now that then, I used to think of it as a cheaper uglier Aston, but it's aged far better. I'm forcing myself not to buy one.

nice
my grandpa had one of these in pretty much perfect condition with low miles but sold it, sucks because i kinda wanted it
on the positive side he left me some stocks and half of his house, sister got the other half
couldn't keep the house, felt weird, sure legally it was half mine but it was his house

>The engine in bulletproof
>The stock internals can handle 300+hp
You're an ignorant buffoon. The PT cruiser is a shit heap, plain and simple. I know these shitboxes like the back of my hand. Why? Because they're notoriously fragile, and anything that can break will break on them, it's that simple.

It's not unheard of for trannies to blow, motors to die spontaneously, and shit like torque/catalytic converters to one day just give up on life.

I would never recommend a PT to anybody, even if it were free. It's a terribly unreliable car.

...

A-bodies

I see them brought up here usually to be ragged on. I kinda like them.

Came to post this, I own two

actually they are bulletproof

Driving one at night will change your opinion. If you're a stoned passenger, it's exactly like riding in a spaceship.

cuz theyre a pain in the ass. if you have the money to do an engine swap theyre awesome. Really great looking cars though.

like theres no prelude fanboys.....

Agree. not just the engine though but the entire electrical system in those is always in shambles.shop i work at had this old guy bring one in and just in decent labor (65 an hour) he spent over 13000 for the engine and electrical work. its a crazy hot rod now.

Chassis related, what I drive.

They're bad, but not nearly as bad as the maymay paints them as being. Compared to a very high percentage of malaise era cars, the Cruiser is unkillable. And yes, I mean new vs new.

Mercury Cougars always remind me of this girl Chrissy who used to babysit me as a kid. She lived across the street, and I'd see her pulling into her driveway with Limp Bizkit blasting...
>KEEP ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN'

10 year-old me had a crush on her. One of the first girls I have memory of masturbating to actually haha. No idea where she's at these days, but I would totally move on that :-)

In it's time, the original NSX was lauded as one of the best driving experiences you could get regardless of price. Honda set the bar for themselves really fucking high, then after the constant delays, people idolizing the old one, and ridiculous overhype there was no way in hell anyone would be happy with the new one unless it had a 700hp NA V12 and started at $15,000.

Personally I don't really have an opinion, I've had about 5000 miles in an old one but never even sat in a new one so really all I can comment on is the way it looks.

PRELUDE #1

Seconded, only problem is rusting.

It's a Ford Cougar.

I'm American, sir.

This might be less of an opinion with car people, and I'm guessing a lot of people like them considering how fucking many there are. But whenever I talk to anyone else they seem to think Neons are awful and look ugly... I love how they look, even if they're probably shit to own.

Maybe it's because Dodge is the only company that "dared" to put angles in the egg design years

ima boosted b18 swapped del slo fan myself. its not killing GTRs on the freeway but crazy fun to drive

>In it's time, the original NSX was lauded as one of the best driving experiences
I don't understand that performance wise
its just a budget Ferrari 348 and not really all that fast
a good cabin and an engine that does not eviscerate its seem to be the main features

looks good with bmw style 4
comfy digi dash too

vtec powa

My daily is a PT base model with 110k miles, and no major issues thus far. Starts every time I turn the key. My PT GT for autocross/rallycross has 302hp and 176k miles, still on original (manual) trans and engine. Interior was shit, and it eats suspension bushings every 15k miles.

Sure

Not in 'Murica

I'm gonna buy and DD one and spit in the face of winter.

>I've never driven a 348 or an NSX and I was born in the mid 90s so I don't remember anything prior to 2005 but....

lol wut

i was born in 1994 and remember 1997

In America, it's a MERCURY Cougar.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury_Cougar

Feel like I'm the only person on Veeky Forums who likes the 300C.

I like it. Brother has one. Decent car. He bought it new in 2006, having gotten suckered in on the hemi advertising. It's still his daily driver 11 years later, no issues with the 5.7L
And no, Neither of us are black, even if we do have different fathers (different marriages, same mother). We're both pasty white, and while I have light brown/dark blonde hair, he's a ginger.

I want a Tesla Model S so bad...
