I know some Dota developers read this thread. This is what would make me love Dota again.
-Shrines can only be used once per game, destroyable any time
-There are only 3 shrines in the base now, one behind each tower
-Activated Shrine refills bottle
-Remove all jungle bounty runes
-One bounty rune spawns on the odd minute on a random spot in the river, gives 3 bottle charges
-Scan can only be used once per game
-Fortification does not refresh after Tier 1 Towers fall
-All buildings now grant the same 200 gold, have the same 1600 health
-Tier 1 Towers now have the same armor aura as Tier 2 and Tier 3.
-Tier 1, 2, 3 Towers and all Barracks have 16 armor
-Tier 4 Towers, Ancients, and Shrines all have 24 armor
-Remove all talents dealing with GPM, XPM, Respawn Time, and Evasion
-Remove all talents that simply add multiple projectiles to a hero's ability
-Remove all talents that give giant bonuses, regardless of them being strong or weak
-Bottle and Salve are dispelled by all units again
-Roshan pit should be properly blended into the Dire side environment
-Return some asymmetry to the map, return some advantages and disadvantages to each side
-Illusions don't give gold, only give small amount of XP
-Remove Tome of Knowledge, Enchanted Mango, and Faerie Fire
-Remove or remake all unused and shitty meme Aghanim's
-Neutral camps spawn every 1 minute and 30 seconds
-Return atmospheric fog and deeper colors to the map
-Remodel more old character models
More psychological depth, as opposed to artificial depth created by spamming items, abilities, and giant random stat changes that no one can keep track of. More risk, risk assessment, precious resource management. More consistency. Getting rid of junk and fluff. More options. More viable strategies and team compositions. Less shit flying everywhere during fights. Less running around hitting shit, collecting runes, and then healing shitty generic MOBA gameplay. Return of some of the older gameplay and Dota personality.)
