just open your current fsgame.ltx file and add this line to it

maximum grid size are allowed to be used as hotkey items. however it shouldnt crash, it should just not allow you to put it in the quick use slot.

Not that user but I figured I'd chime in since I"m balls deep in CoC right now. The big ones I use are Doctor X's Questlines and Dynamic Faction Relations just to keep things a little spicy with variation NPC-wise. Arsenal Overhaul for moar dakka. Then just smaller mods like transparent inventory, fluffy grass, and Smurth's dynamic HUD.

CoC is fun pretty good freeplay out of the box, with tons of room for tailoring. Questlines and Faction Relations make the NPC related stuff a bit more dynamic though. I'm gonna try Warfare tomorrow too because that looks pretty dope.

oh and I use Warfighter Realism mod to make the guns do more ouch

ALso, to the user asking about CoC. If my answer was too much for you, just start CoC vanilla, and look through the moddb add-ons list for it every once in a while to get ideas of what you might like to add to your experience. That method is working out beautifully for me.
