I recently left SWTOR. I can't go back to WoW as they made that game unplayable ever since Cataclysm.

So I am looking for another game to play and I thought about Tera. I then see things about people protesting and people angry about something and it makes me wonder if I am just going from one shit show (essentially all EA games) to another?

Is this game dead like SWTOR? Is the company behind Tera just milking its playerbase like EA was doing to those playing TOR?

If not this game what other game (if any) should I look into?

I think that is true. I remember playing EQ, SWG, WoW (vanilla through Wrath) and I loved it.

I haven't really had fun in an MMO since Wrath. I have played tons of MMO's and they all seem to be designed by people who don't play games themselves and hate those who do. Plus the nickel and dime everyone to death.

I mean, if you're interested in ERP or just hanging out i'd say give this game a shot. But if you're looking for an actual MMO to invest a bunch of time in that has a definite future, i'd wait and see if anything good is coming on the horizon.
