Should i install the DLC? It adds a lot of things like items, boosts max level cap and lots of other things.

No, start with VII then RB3. Don't touch anything else and you will get out this franchise with a positive critique

Only start with RB1 if you're hardcore.
Without DLCs, the game is pretty hard and grindy, you'll lose a lot.

If you're a babby casual scrub n00b, start with RB3 or VII.

Yes. RB1 was designed as babby's first Neptunia and it serves its purpose well.

It's not really "should" but rather "do I want to?". Nep DLCs have no influence on the story whatsoever and serve either as cheats or bonus post-game challenges.
You're not losing any game experience without the DLCs, so it's entirely up to you to decide.

You should only get Million Arthur, Nitroplus and God Eater's DLCs.
The others are just thrown in when the game starts.

Otherwise, the problem with Neptunia is that the later games expect you to know the characters, but the earlier games have terrible gameplay.
This is why you get two kind of approach : prioritize the story and start from RB1, or prioritize the gameplay and start from VII.

I'd say start with RB1. If you don't, well you will just don't know any characters and the game will suppose you know them and their relationship.

Extella has (barely) better gameplay, Blanc's game has an infinitely more entertaining script. Extella's plot is fucking awful, and that's speaking as a Fate fan. At least Tagmension's joke plot knows it's a joke.
