the final duel with him was legendary for me as it culminated everything i learnt to love about the game into one final moment
Zero playing in the background made it even better, with something that i originally thought would never fit in a war environment easily becoming one of the best boss themes ive ever heard, also played to the legend of Razgriz with it reusing Unsung War's lyrics with Cipher being the first coming of Razgriz in my eyes

Felt like Zero was a proof of concept pilot game compared to the longer and more story filled 5.

It had as much heart as 4, and the same more mature tone. 5 just feels immature in every area from gameplay to writing, which makes it drastically weaker than zero and 4 just based off tone alone.

That's funny because it was released after 5. If anything, 5 was an ambitious attempt that fell flat, and PA learned from their mistakes for Zero.
