>Road to Menaphos #2:
youtube.com/watch?v=tAVjFUmH0_o

Is Menaphos going to be the last attempt at grabbing new players?

meg

There's 2 more expansions later this year, Menaphos is the first of 3.

worst girl

that's not Linza.

rude

is 120 slayer considered an expansion by itself?

No, that's part of the Menaphos expansion.

Reminded that if you space bar through quests you're not allowed to discuss lore.

>I do spacebar quests
>And I have a comp cape

That's kind of fine, just don't try to know more about lore than the people that do read them, and we're cool.

I don't even care about the lore.

That's also fine.

this game is getting really boring

Take a break or find better things to do while afking

give me your items so you have less inclination to come back when you stop playing.

no thank you

but then i would either need to be productive or get sucked into something just as shitty

So, a few hours ago I got 3rd age from a clue. Now that I finally have some money, I was curious if you guys could help me out with a question.

Should I go nox staff or nox bow?

Right now my range setup is: Augmented Arma Body/Legs, Pernix Boots, Arma Gloves, Augmented Royal CBow

My mage setup is: Augmented Body/Legs Subjugation, Virtus Boots, Subju gloves, and an Augmented Attuned Crystal Staff.

Also, I only really do slayer. Any advice?

>I got 3rd age from a clue

Which piece?
The price range is pretty big, hard to know how much money you got.

I pretty much have 200m to spend.

Then get Nox Bow and the BH Staff.

just pick whichever you like/use the most

...

I thought that the BH staff wasn't really worth it. Am I wrong?
It's hard because I use both equally for slayer.

I'm 99 def, range, magic and slayer, what do i do to get 99 str/att other than abyss?

Im a 136 cbl t70 armour / t80 weap poorfag, with 66 invention what perks do i get in my shit, im max slayer.

airut

Airuts

I don't even remember what I was killing when I got my melee stats to 99

My kill speeds are crap even with the fury swords, ill give it ago but any other recommendations?

Airuts
It's about 1.5m melee xp/hour off task
Shattered worlds might be good now too, not sure on xp rate

Get a lance

>I thought that the BH staff wasn't really worth it. Am I wrong?
It's a t87 weapon that goes around 50m.
It's worth it if you're using a t80 and can't afford Nox.

Get a scythe or lance, also try to get them as a slayer task so you can use the slayer helm to increase accuracy.

do u even telos

Acensions are stronger than a nox bow if you do not have mutated dazing shot from Shattered Worlds. This is because of dual wield's needle strike, giving 7% more damage on your next hit, up to 3* if comboed correctly, which greatly surpasses normal dazing shot.

If you want to make bank get a noxious staff and learn telos, you seem to be going the range route which will only get you bank if you spam aod with a good group, but that sounds advanced for you judging by your gear. Telos is easy to learn just watch Litt and Couchy.

augmented anima core is not as good as augmented nex gear

...

BTFO

>never tried to get faster kills internet too shit

why don't they just make an ability that is resonance without needing the shield???

>the last 2 ship hulls have far less speed than the ones before them
wHAT THE FLYING FUCK????

from what i can tell speedkilling relies on ignoring comfy rotations and just fucking things up, which i really dont care about.

Just stick an exile on each ship

why don't they just make an ability that is corruption shot without needing a weapon?

They actually did something weird like that in WoW during Cataclysm, Warriors had a spell reflect that required a shield but they made it so they can use it without macroing sword/shield/spell so you'd just be standing there with your glorious body radiating spell reflections

What gear should I get for Telos besides the staff?

how much of a step up is KQ from giant mole?

You need to use 2 attack styles.
Other than that, it's pretty much the same.

Ideally Virtus since tec would be a waste learning

>top
Crackling 3 + filler (could be mobile but that removes adren gain on surge which is nice cus you surge often. could also be crystal shield 1)
Biting 3 (2 + filler if you want to try, not many real choices besides mobile)

>legs
Impatient 3 (can +filler but easiest is devoted 2, which is irrelevant if:)
Enhanced Devoted 3

you put crackling and biting on top so that if you were to go to a boss with reflect you aren't removing your adren gain (impatient) and damage mitigation (enh dev)

KQ introduces item switches, you start the fight with melee, her second form gets ranged, this is because she prays against certain attack styles

ideally pic related, but you can substitute for lower level stuff as needed. virtus/nox would tend to be a baseline though.

Okay, thanks. Last question, what should I put on my staff?

Every weapon should have Aftershock 3 (if dual wielding put it on mainhand) and Precise 5 (offhand)

If you money to waste on gizmos and yew/magic shieldbows to diss, you can try for Precise 4 + Equalibrium 2, using 5 precise components, it's like 1% better than P5

aftershock 3 and either precise 5 or precise 4 + equilibrium 2 if you can manage to get it

Almost exactly what my setup looks like
Virtus isn't viable at high enrage because the golems are too accurate against it

Okay, I'll attempt to get this stuff. Thanks, anons.

So do I have to constantly switch attack styles/armor to do endgame content?

You are expected to learn prayer switch and shield switch at the very least.

>basic being good at bosses
ring of vigour before berserk/swift/sun
planted feet + aftershock main hand weapon to extend said ultimates
Shield switch heal/avoid mechanics hurting

>sweaty deeps
above + dual wield + 2h switching (keybound) to utilize the best basic abilities and not use the filler lower damage ones
Lunging (melee)
Flanking

>tfw
WORRY

he meant complete gear loadouts for different styles.

for the most part, yes. you can technically do anything with any style, though certain bosses have mechanics which favor one style unfairly.

>telos being movement and aoe based means mage
>araxxors affinities/killspeeds mean melee
>nex being a cunt means range
>aod has specific roles that use specific styles
>raids is mostly anything goes as long as you live

dreadnips got nerfed

no reason to bring them

Any of these fayre prizes worth shit?

kys shoe

Nope

how do niggas level smithing post 80 this shit is STUPID

literally how the fuck do you know

portables and do addy claws or something.

You will even make a profit with dg scrolls.

dreadnips are borderline required to do telos for onslaughting and shit p5

...

WTF

DELETE

Post max enrage

>kill fungal mages again
i fucking hate slayer why cant it always give the fun tasks

...

spend 100 slayer points and you'll never see them again you pussy

YES lads
nearly 1.5k dry

>the crushing realisation that you'll never be good

Ah okay, I'm fine with prayer switching and bosses being weaker to certain styles. Just fucking hate games where you change your characters entire load out every few minutes. Kills the fantasy for me. Autistic I know.

I haven't done Telos in months

Rax is better anyway

aren't you ashamed of yourself?

>Rax is better anyway
That's wrong though

What's street price for these fayre meme items?

God Construction is ass. Is there any way to profit or at least save cash from doing it?

warbands

shifting tombs seems to be a possible way to train it too when is released.

not being a poor piece of shit is a good start

>save cash
warbands.

make your own planks

As mentioned before, Warbands are easily the most cost effective way.

If that's too tedious for you, then your next best bet is to just use Miscellenia to obtain all of your logs and track down a portable sawmill to save cash on each plank made. Then, assuming you have a Ring of Fortune (or a lot of Rings of Wealth) and have done the Hard Fremmenik Tasks, just make a bunch of flatpacks then teleport to Miscellenia to give them to Advisor Ghrim to cash them in towards more wood for planks

how come they don't make a milestone cape (99)?

it's called the max cape you silly doofus haha.

Am i missing something? Why would I use a whip over a dragon longsword?

why would you use anything other than nox/seis?

Why would you use a t60 over a t70?

it has more damage?

no it doesn't
check again

Abbysal whip isn't a t70? What

artisans

whip: 672
d longsword: 735

Do people use flasks for anything other than sara brews?

did you take speed into account

stop

stop what?
