It doesn't happen in LoL because lol doesn't have the character diversity to have heroes peak at different timings.
Dota demands you to be consistent, you can't pick an early game dominator and just win. You need to play to the relative strengths of the hero.
If you pick QoP, dominate the early game and then proceed to feed multiple times, you deserve to lose. The hero's strengths were played, and you failed to execute on what makes her strong.
Different line ups have different timings.
Comeback mechanics allow for both early and late game heroes to be viable.
This is because if you execute early properly, you win. If you play late game and minimise your early game losses, you win.
You'd understand this if you weren't a third world retard who didn't understand the first thing about the game he plays.

Yeah no. I have several 2k friends as well and you can see their brain exploding just from watching them. It looks like they are constantly overwhelmed by everything around them and do stuff completely at random.

Started Dota 2 not long ago, because I was told a patch made it closer to League and even more casual, so I went on Steam and installed it.
Verdict?
Game is great. Non-existant learning curve. Easy to be good at. Graphics are way better than LoL. Plus you can watch pros play, directly in the game, which is a great plus.
I highly recommend it if you like games that don't need a lot of practice to be good.
By the way, which hero should I play? I really love the Sniper hobbit.

Dota 2 got way way more casual than League ever was, and here's why.
League always had more players than Dota 2, so Valve had to find a way to attract more players and potentially steal some from LoL. How to do that?
Quite simple. You make the game more casual and accessible, so when people start playing it they are actually getting kills and they feel like they are good. This makes them like the game and stick with it.
No sane person would ditch LoL to go in Dota 2 if you end up getting wrecked every single game, because it takes months of learning and practicing. That was the situation in the early beta days, but the last patches made the game wayyy too much accessible to noobs.
