I drive a Mazda 3

3k civic

We like hatchbacks and SUVs with AWD, RWD doesn't work that well in the deep slush

Trucks too, especially outside cities

snowmobiles

A moose

A Leaf Blower

>canucks buy cars for their drivetrain instead of just buying snow tires despite their government making them required
seriously?

Nissan LEAF

DUH! It's like you no nothing about Canadian culture.

thats only in some provinces iirc, also most of the fucking country lives right along the border so dont buy into the 'canada is cold' meme

You mean a [fucking] LEAF

dog sled.

After a certain point winter tires don't get you unstuck

Also, Ottawa is an hour and a half from the US border but it still gets to -30 with wind-chill in the winter on occasion

Oh shit... jokes on me.

...

More Mazdas. They're popular in Canada unlike the states. More hatchbacks and wagons than Americans. Small crossovers are popular too. Civics are top sellers, not so much Camrys and Altimas. Not that many Altimas actually, compared to Americans. Lots of trucks like Americans though.

>An hour and a half from the US border
What fucking map are you looking at

I think more canadians drive manuel than americans. A few years ago it was something like 1/6 while for america it was 1/12, but now it's probably dropped as well

>pic related

>not having an awd with snow tyres

$5k*

Toronto area: Asian women in Porsche SUVs
Everywhere else: F150s and civics

My American observations.

The Canadians drive non-Canadian cars.

3rd Gen 4Runners

Not far off of AB

Philippinios drive fucking second Gen dodge mini vans

Asians drive CRV/Rav4/Jukes

And a fuck ton of trugggggs

Trucks and more trucks.

subarus, subaru almost beats out GM here, which is insane.

Pretty much this. Toronto is crazy about F-150s and Silverados. Rams too.

you might want to look at your graph again

too much fuck it i'll drive a trashcan

Rust can*

that's ford, not subaru

That pic could be upper NY state. Or Chicago.

The only thing that gives it away as Canadian is that in the USA, voters would have their mayor's head for not plowing the streets clear. In Canada, they just say 'Screw it. We know how to drive in the snow.'

shit

Rusty cars.

Compared to the US? Less crossovers, more hatchbacks, more subcompacts, more manuals.
Mazda3's are all over the damn place. In my group of 12 co-workers, 4 of them own one (half auto, half manual, one 2.5L GT)

I suppose that the difference is that as soon as it can be cleared, it snows again. This is more of a problem the more north you go.

Also, the amount of fucking road salt they use rots your car in half the lifespan it should have

Something like this?

I'm from Ontario.

It's insane how many K cars were on the road in the 90's... it's more insane how many still are.

Grand Ams are also hugely popular in Ontario because of indians.

Acura CSXes

>Amerilards in charge of geography

Indians all got proper jobs in the last 20 years and drive nicer cars now. It's the refugee mudslimes that drive $600 shitboxes

I drive a Silverado

someone post the guys having sex on wheels

I didn't ask for these feels.

>Indians all got proper jobs

Are you trying to have a giggle? Indians are as useless, lazy, drunk, violent, and entitled as ever. The only difference is that with the casinos and increased government handouts they're able to afford nicer cars. They sure as hell aren't holding down any jobs.

Oh I'm laffin'

I was talking about curry Indians not feather Indians

Subaru wrx

The Xtrail was also a Canada-only car.

1989 foxbody COOOOOOOUUUUUPE

OH fuck lel

r32 gtst and a drz400sm

Shit, upstate NY gets more snow than that in an hour. The area around the Finger Lakes in particular is notorious for getting hammered, regularly ending up with snow piles so big they hang around until fucking June or July.

Salt is a big thing too. The staties start chucking it down by the truckfull at the first sign of snow because nobody can fucking drive and think their half-bald all seasons will work fine in a northeastern winter storm, it's an issue with the whole area. PA also uses sand and cinders instead of just salt, but that means living in PA.
