Overall, we need a mod for CoC that allows for specific tactics or commands. "Move here" or "Take cover here" type stuff. Instead of them just mindlessly following you around out in the open and running up to literally every enemy they see immediately. They can last in a fire fight, but it's really immersion breaking when they're just running around like COD-kids.

Is there actually a "move here" command? I've never seen one. I've seen one that says keep your distance. Stealth mode I haven't seen either. I'll look through key binds but I don't recall these being options.

Yeah bro check the controls menu. A nice little reticle comes up to show where you're telling the dudes to go even. They're not bound by default, but they help immensely when you do.
