Looking for a mmo that runs well on a five year old laptop. Something obscure would be ideal since I've already played most of the well known ones into endgame. Preferably f2p and with enough players to be able to enjoy endgame with. I don't mind heavy grind, tab target, wow clones, isometric camera angles, or p2w so long as it's not gated by cash walls for gear upgrades.

There's a boss in Neverwinter that can easily TPK a bad party of 5, but if you know what you're doing 3 people can beat it pretty easily. In one run, one player leaves because we wipe once, then everyone ends up leaving like a bunch of pussies because "this is impossible". These spineless wimps pissed me off I decided I wasn't leaving the dungeon until I solo'd it as an underleveled cleric just to spite their faggotry. The game has an injury system where dying gives you temporary combat penalties until you rest, but my hatred was so pure the game glitched out and started removing them with every revival.
It took 8 hours and all of my health potions, but I did it. What a bunch of cowardly chumps.

Do the endgame dungeons in neverwinter still revolve around abusing revive mechanics to skip 80% of them? I remember the game being fun, but actually not playing that game got to me after a while. Are guardian fighters still mediocre at best? Tanking there was fun, but pretty useless when a control wizard could do everything you could infinitely better. I remember for a while it was better to just go full damage and end up #1 on the dps charts.

All I remember from this game was that every boss spawned a fuck ton of adds and everyone ran 2x makes every party so they can shove mobs off cliffs

Remember the custom dungeon creator 'feature' where you could create a dungeon with a massive drop off? You'd attach a small platform connected to the cliff and spawn hundreds of mobs on top of it. Blowing the mobs off of that platform would let you hit level cap in minutes. It was retarded. Neverwinter was a buggy pile of shit, but I'll be damned if it wasn't funny to play at times.
