I know you can easily turbo an explorer 5.0 (215 HP) . Its a windsor 302.
Thing is, you dont just slap a turbo on it, you have to upgrade things. Id expect a very easy 100 hp with with the most minimal mods.

I like getting 80 mpg on my gas powered commuter, a LS can´t do that and won´t fit in my car anyway.
Also driving WOT close to redline for hours is pretty common where I live, a turbocharged LS won´t survive that for long...

The stock 305 is garbage and costs way too much to make power. Get a 305 out if a turd gen, tear it apart and give it 9.5:1 pistons, new heads and shit, turbo it and run like 20 pounds and you'll make over 750hp
