1st for best girl

2nd for hairpussies

I like you OP

xth for Sasuke

...

Why did Deidara have to be SHARINGAN'D?

Because Kishi has a boner for every Uchiha and will stop at nothing to create opportunities to wank them.

Konoha boys having a good time together is my ultimate fetish

Gay

n-no homo

Jesus Christ, that guy.

Platonic bromance is the purest form of love

This is now a gay sleepover thread.

True
But goddamn, I have to agree with their points in the context of the Naruto world, and the wank is entertaining in a ridiculous way

*Platonic bromance thread

The Uchiha had no points. Even Itachi was a retarded fuckup.

They had a good time when Naruto became Hokage.

No. Gay sleepover.

Just keep posting, we'll settle on the name later

>ywn invite your bros for a sleepover, play videogames, charge your JO crystals and watch movies ever again

But Madara's and Sasuke's point about the Naruto world being an absolute retard-filled shithole that needs a near complete restructuring were spot-on in my opinion, though, even if most gruesome things were implied and non shown due to the Naruto series being a children's franchise

Do the Naruto girls have lesbian sleepovers as well?

fair enough. but I'm already running low.

Ew gross we don't talk about girls here.

Was Rinfag the gay sleepover guy?

Same. While there's plenty of fanfiction the decent images are very few. Which is preposterous.

Who has the comfiest house/apartment/room in Naruto?

Definitely not Salad, post-Gaiden

The Uzumaki family

This. Just look how comfy this place is. Looks like it's straight out of a damn ghibli movie.

Kaguya

Naruto ghibli-esque movie when?

No one wants to read your shitty sasuke-wanking, self-insert half-uzumaki princess salad fanfiction, you dumb fujoshi.

Okay

Revival of M when?

MIZUKI MIZUKI MIZUKI MIZUKI

Not that user but damn that's harsh. Anyway isn't Kakashi's apartment the most depressing shit ever?

Just looking at their dining room relaxes me.

How did you get this from that post?

You must've missed this person in the last two threads, user.

True,
Shows how empty inside he is
Being Kakashi is suffering

Digits

Look at how much love is in this house.

Makes sense. Speaking of, why didn't Kishi give him a wife or at least a gf? Is it supposed to have something to do with Rin?

...

That's mean, dude.

The moment Kakashi killed Rin, he also killed his hetrosexual sex drive

Oh

would've been neat if he had actually gotten together with that chick from the airship book rather than it just being naruto spreading rumors

>Kakashi
>sex drive
lol

Kishi didn't give most characters significant others in the end. Just the main kids.

>9

Platonic bromance on page 1!

>konohamaru thinking he can hang

youtube.com/watch?v=d8xoTBZrzko

>10

Tits are misshapen. 0/10.

>1

...

>make nearly perfect game
>butcher every game that came after it
Why?

wasn't the first storm the one where Hiruzen could lock your opponent out of specials and substitution for the rest of the game?
even if it was the one that fixed substitution by adding the meter

>9

...

Whose fault is it that we didn't get this instead of canon?

Best forgotten girl coming through

> flat as a board
No thanks

How about the best underused and underrated girl then? How Kishi got away with the design is beyond me.

...

yo

post some akatsuki shit

thanks

...

Yeah she's alright before she goes full Tumblr hambeast

Post more of this please

Alrighty, finally, since he's been bugging me for days about it, Waniko's day, back from last week! This will likely be a long summary, and don't be surprised if I split this over two days or something.

After getting out of the awkward moment wherein some literally who girl basically made any present she gets Fugetsu invalid, Waniko spends the morning wondering what she's able to do to get something that's worthy, and in the spirit of being a woman, goes shopping for herself to get her thought processes flowing. Going through the market district by herself, she picks up another three Soldier Pills, two smoke bombs to help her use Through the Shadows Softly in open ground, and a Basic Trap-making Kit, which would allow her to, as the name suggests, set up basic traps, such as tripline traps, basic pressure traps, things like that. I didn't provide specific items within the kit, in an attempt to provide a more open-ended approach to setting traps.

After the retail therapy, she decided to just wander Kirigakure, on the off-chance she'd bump into Arata, as she planned to ask him about a specific flower she wanted to try and find for Fugetsu - specifically, the Hozuki plant. As she was wandering around, someone called out to her, calling her their 'newest little cousin'. Looking around, she saw two men in black and grey casual clothes, grinning at her. One asked if she recognised them, and the other thought that she probably wouldn't, since they had been wearing masks last time.

Waniko admitted that she didn't, but the two figures didn't seem put out, replying that they hadn't introduced themselves last time anyway. They introduced themselves as Ushi and Ora, two of the Raven Guard that the Job Squad fought when they were on Deliverance a while ago. Ora shrugged and said that the Guard had *technically* won, but Ushi just chuckled and commented that Ora was just upset because he was the first to get out.

Waniko clicked and apologised, since she had always been bad with remembering people, but said they had been really strong, so the Job Squad probably hadn't stood much of a chance anyway. Ushi shrugged and replied they had had full combat gear at the time, and so wasn't surprised she didn't remember them, before asking what she was doing in Kirigakure all alone, since it was quite a long way from Konoha.

Waniko explained the situation: Fugetsu's promotion, Seven Swordsman, the whole deal. Ora nodded and mentioned that Ushi wanted to try and attended, but they didn't want to risk getting caught being somewhere they shouldn't be. Ushi seemed hurt and exclaimed that he had SAID he had 'a guy' who could get them into things like that. Waniko laughed and said they had missed some really good food, before asking what they were in Kiri for. Ora slyly replied that just because she was a Shimazu didn't mean they were allowed to tell her Raven Guard operations.

Ushi looked thoughtful and told her, however, that since the team had come to Deliverance, Mitsurugi had really been getting the Raven Guard back onto the mainland, with Ora agreeing, mentioning that the Guard hadn't had as much exercise off-island in years, and that while Deliverance was a nice place, and it was home, nobody joins the Raven Guard to just hand around in Noxus. Ushi, moving away from the topic of confidential missions, proclaimed he was starving, and asked his teammate what the time was. Ora sighed and replied that it was about lunch time, to which Ushi excitedly told him that he could shout the group - including Waniko - to lunch, before asking if she knew any good places, or if they were just going to wing it. Waniko told the Guard that she didn't know anywhere really, but that didn't deter Ushi, who just nodded and decided that they were just going to wander until they found somewhere good.

So saying, Ushi struck out in a random direction, with Ora sighing and saying that his teammate was often like this, and he believed he was 'blending in' somehow. Waniko giggled and agreed that Ushi was sticking out a lot, but asked if that meant that their mission wasn't all that secret after all. Ora wiggled his hand, replied that it was, but it wasn't, and reminded her that, for better or worse, their last two Lords had mostly kept the clan out of the spotlight, and a lot of people didn't even know they existed anymore. He did mention again, however, that whatever she and her team had said to the current Lord Shimazu had clearly changed that though, and Ora had a feeling that the clan was going to be making a comeback soon in a big way.

Waniko thought that since neither of them were wearing headbands, or combat gear, they didn't stand out that much as ninja anyway, which in retrospect, was probably a good thing, since people would probably get suspicious if foreign shinobi were wandering around their Village. Ora scoffed and shrugged, replying that he - nor Lord Shimazu - were too worried about it, and asking if she hadn't heard, '...this is the age of peace now. We're all one, big happy family, the world over'. Ora himself didn't seem to believe what he had said, and indeed, seemed pretty derisive of the idea. Ushi, in contrast, just chuckled from up front and told his little cousin that it was their clan that do the watching, not the other way around.

Waniko agreed that they were probably right, and asked what sort of things they'd have to take care of on the mainland. Before answering, Ushi stopped and pointed to a small cafe, just off the main street, proclaiming that this was the place for their little trio to eat. Ora raised an eyebrow and questioned why Ushi was so dramatic, but let the matter drop. The conversation paused for a moment as orders were placed and the group was settled.

After they were settled, Ushi leaned back and sighed, getting back to Waniko's question. He told her that most of the observation stuff is just handed down to the deployed operators, since most of them had been on the mainland for years as it was. Ora chimed in, saying that the Guard were called in usually if the Operator requests specific assistance, or if word reaches Mitsurugi of something that requires a finer touch. He mentions that the Raven Guard used to be the Shimazu's front-line combat support, but that stopped as of about the Third Shinobi World War.

Waniko seemed rather interested now, asking if there was indeed something worrying going on, and if that was why there was more activity than usual. Ushi took a sip of his tea and looked at her over the rim of his cup, telling her that his little cousin and her team had kicked up a hornet's nest in Amegakure, especially since the clan hadn't even been aware that Danzo had survived, and that Mitsurugi had nearly had an aneurysm when he heard. Ora had a bit of a chuckle and told her that he probably could've been heard across the whole island - 'HOW DIDN'T WE KNOW THIS', 'ALL REPORTS SAY HE DIED', 'WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR FOLLOWING THIS UP', etc.

Waniko told them that she hadn't realised they'd be causing so much trouble, telling them that she hadn't know that 'Lord Zed' had been a zombie robot either. Ora sighed and replied that the fact that he had escaped raised a bit of an issue, and that they would've liked to know what his plan had been. Ushi cut in, telling her that the Guard had been in his office within the hour, tearing it apart, and that her team had done enough, just making them aware that Danzo was still around.

Ora leaned and in lowered his voices, telling Waniko that the thing that was worrying Mitsurugi most of all now is how, and why, a Shimazu was working for, or with, Danzo. Waniko asked if they knew who it was, since she imagined they keep track of who is out and about. Ora leaned back and replied that they were looking into it, and that they had the same files that the Job Squad did in regards to who had been sent out on loan to Amegakure, but since Mitsurugi wanted to be sure, they were double, triple and quadruple checking everything. Ushi shrugged and told her that a the moment, it didn't appear to be anyone special - just a guy who went there on a mission and never came back.

Waniko mentioned that her dad had been allowed to live on the mainland, but she couldn't imagine that it was normal for the Shimazu to let anyone just do what they want. Ora smiled and replied that she'd probably be surprised, and that rules are laid down for those that want to live on the mainland, but for the most part, Lord Shimazu didn't really have an issue with it, although he did mention that they preferred it when people checked in from time to time if they were living on the mainland.

Waniko nodded but said that it'd probably be strange to go back to Amegakure for any length of time anyway, now that she had a clan. Ushi laughed, telling her that she was welcome to do what she liked - she was always welcome in Noxus, but he wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to spend more time on the mainland with her '''teammate''' Fugetsu. Waniko immediately turned a deep shade of crimson, stammering that Ushi had the wrong idea, that she didn't think that he understood, and lamely finishing that she'd want to stay with *all* her friends there.

Her voice lowered and she finished that Fugetsu probably didn't think about her in the same way anyway. Ora seemed interested and asked why she thought that. It all then just spilled out of Waniko, as she said that she didn't think he acted towards her in a way that people should act if they like someone, but she didn't want to say that to him as that'd be embarrassing, finishing off by saying that she thought liking someone was supposed to be nice, but it turns out it just actually kind of hurts. She also added that his family was super serious, and he had a title now, so she didn't think it'd be good for him to hand out with 'someone like her' anyway.

Ora looked at Ushi and sighed, telling her that he didn't think they were qualified to give advice on this, citing the fact they were both dudes, and both single. He did, however, suggest that if she liked Fugetsu, she shouldn't just give up. Ushi agreed, saying that titles were largely meaningless anyway, and what matters was what the two of them felt, before wondering if all Fugetsu needed was two big cousins to knock his head around a bit until he got it. Ora didn't think that was a good idea, but told his little cousin that if she really liked him, she might just need to risk embarrassment, and that nothing that is good is easy. Conversation broke as the food was brought out, and Ora finished that personally, he'd like to know one way or the other, rather than not knowing at all, which made Ushi chuckle and comment that that was basically the motto of the Shimazu clan anyway.

Waniko guessed she could just keep trying, and that even if they didn't had advice, they could tell her how to know if a guy likes her, and that she couldn't imagine saying something directly without knowing. Ushi shrugged again and replied that it depended on the guy, with some being really open and wearing their hearts on their sleeves, and others being more guarded.

He continued, saying that if a guy liked her, he'd try to spend time with her, treat her as their best friend, and look to her for advice, comfort (heyyo!) and support, and that he'd tell her things he wouldn't tell others. Waniko thought for a moment and wondered if that meant Fugetsu did like her, since she felt like he did try to do those things, and that she'd just need to keep trying and pay attention more. She hastily apologised for burdening them with her emotional girly junk while they were busy with a mission, but she'd just been thinking about it all day.

Ora took a bite and nodded to Ushi, telling her that the Shimazu had actually been keeping tabs on the Hozuki for a fair while, and they had known about the plan to create someone like Fugetsu for quite a while, mentioning that while their specific Raven Guard team hadn't been assigned to monitor them, he'd be surprised if there wasn't an operator close by keeping tabs. He continued that from what he'd heard, he wasn't too surprised that Fugetsu kept things close to the chest, as it was easier not to get hurt, and to just keep his head down and do his job. Ushi chimed in that it couldn't be easy having a dad like Mugetsu.

Waniko said that Mugetsu seemed really scary, but that if Fugetsu was so important, the probably had his future already fully planned out. Ora thought for a moment and replied that he didn't think Mugetsu was 'scary', so much as he was just very serious about making Fugetsu a success. Ushi pointed an empty wooden skewer at Waniko and told her that if the past had taught her anything - and if it hadn't, she should read a book sometime - is that people planning futures rarely worked out, saying that he was sure the Uchiha had very grand plans, for example.

>heyyo!
Why the heyyo? Has something like that happened in the game yet?

Not yet. That's for the sequel campaign!

Ora grinned and told her that, as for interrupting the mission, she shouldn't worry, since he had a feeling it would take quite a...and his voiced drifted off before he finished. His eyes went wide slightly as he looked over Ushi's shoulder and told him to be cool, but asked if their mission just got a lot easier. Waniko, CLASSIC fucking Waniko, immediately flung herself around to look in the direction Ora had looked and asked "WHAT IS IT?". Basically 100% pic related.

Ushi leaned back and rummaged for something in his pocket, before keys, a wallet, some money and gum spilled out onto the ground. He hissed at Waniko that Ora said to be cool, and leaned down out of his seat to pick his shit back up, looking out of the corner of his eye at what Ora had noticed. He straightened up, and in a low voice, asked what the hell 'he' was doing just wandering around Kirigakure. Ora shrugged and replied that he guessed Naruto couldn't tell him what to do there. Ushi uncomfortably agreed, but stated that 'he' wasn't really welcome ANYWHERE. Ora glanced at Waniko, and told her that, in future, when he says 'be cool', he meant 'don't immediately spin around in the direction he said NOT to look'. He then asked Ushi what he thought the figure was writing. By now, I'm sure you've all guessed, they trio had spotted Orochimaru, still out the front of the same cafe he had met Arata at (not that they knew he had met Arata).

Ushi said he didn't know, but half-joked that maybe they were more plans for catching Sasuke. Waniko apologised for her shitty no-chill observation, but asked if someone like Orochimaru could really catch someone like Sasuke.

Ora shrugged and told her that Orochimaru had already done so once, but that had been years and years ago, before the - he motioned to his eyes - God powers and all that. Waniko asked what Orochimaru had wanted with Sasuke, and if Orochimaru had given him the special powers. Ora chuckled and said that it turned out that being able to warp reality made it REALLY hard to catch someone, and Ushi leaned back and told her that they still weren't 100% sure why he had wanted Sasuke, with the prevailing theory being that he had wanted a new body to swap into, and the Sharingan had looked mighty fine at the time. He also clarified that Orochimaru wasn't the one who give Sasuke the special eyes. Ora rolled his eyes and said 'Here we go', but Ushi continued, telling her that it had ACTUALLY been the Sage of the Six Paths who had given Sasuke his superpowers. Ora sighed and said that sure, and he was also a goat.

Waniko seemed more than a little spooked, and asked if Orochimaru could really take someone else's body, but also that the god powers seemed cooler than the Sharingan, and it was no wonder that Orochimaru wanted his body. Ushi shrugged and replied that Sasuke didn't have his superpowers back when Orochimaru wanted him - and that as far as anyone knows, they manifested around the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War.

Waniko, still cautiously curious, asked what Orochimaru DID do to Sasuke then. Ushi stood up and replied that maybe she'd get to ask him, and if she wanted to come with. Ora looked shocked as Waniko hesitantly agreed, and hissed at Ushi, asking what he was thinking. Ushi replied that she was a Shimazu, Ora started saying that she was Raven Guard, but Ushi told him that if he thought she wouldn't make Raven Guard in the future, he was deluded.

The two bantered back and forth for a while until Ora gave in, but said that, basically, if it all went tits-up, it was all on Ushi's head. Ushi didn't seem concerned, putting and arm around Waniko and leading her over to Orochimaru. As the three of them approached, Orochimaru looked up and squinted in the sunlight, asking if he could help them. Ushi grinned and asked if he could sit, to which Orochimaru shrugged and replied that it was a free Village, and indeed, a free country. The Shimazu trio sit down, but there's a tension in the air radiating of the two Raven Guard, with Orochimaru, on the other hand, completely at ease. He pointed at Waniko, stating that he had seen her before, before pointing to the Raven Guard and telling him that he hadn't.

Waniko seemed a little surprised that Orochimaru knew her, but he jogged her memory that they had met just the night before at the promotion, before glancing back to the Guard and asking if they were her big brothers, and if he was in trouble. Ushi was still smiling easily, but Ora was all business, and stated that they wanted to know what Orochimaru knew about Danzo still being alive. Orochimaru mirrored Ora's serious leaning-forward movement and asked why he should tell the Guard that. He held the pose for a second before leaning back and smiling again, gesturing to the both of them, giving them a quick critique - "Black and grey, a - if I may say so myself - rather poor job on dyeing the hair, your sketchy 'surveillance' of me just now, and an air that makes you think you own the world..." - he stopped smiling - "Since the Uchiha are all dead, nobody else really has that sort of arrogance...so that must make you the mythical Shimazu, correct?"

Ora seemed thrown, and Orochimaru pointed to Waniko, telling the group that he had just told her last night that he knew when he was being watched, even when it was by ghosts and legends who don't exist.

Sequel campaign? I didn't realize offering comfort was sexual but hey whatever floats your boat.

The air seemed to drop by about 20 degrees, and Orochimaru made a pretty poorly veiled threat - "And believe you me, you're not the first Shimazu to come snooping around for me. But you've never met anyone else who has, have you? Which then begs the question...what do you think happened to them?". There was silence for a moment before Waniko ventured and answer, "Their bodies got snatched?", but Orochimaru nodded and told her what had actually happened: three Shimazu got buried in nine shallow graves across seven different countries, and funnily enough, the clan more or less backed off after that.

Ora went to almost try and hit Orochimaru, but Ushi grabbed him and pulled him back down, saying that the past was in the past, and they just wanted to know what he know about Danzo, that was all. Orochimaru didn't even respond to Ora, asking why they wanted to know what he knew, and that with their network, surely they'd know more than him. Ushi replied that Orochimaru had worked with Danzo personally, but Orochimaru rolled his eyes and told them that Danzo had been a trial subject, the same as the rest, and told them not to assume they had been friends or anything. Ushi pushed, saying that Orochimaru had been Danzo's subordinate in ROOT, but Orochimaru deflected it, shrugging and saying that he had left ROOT, and that he had also had been in Akatsuki, before leaving, and that he had had his fingers in a lot of pies in his younger days, asking what the Shimazu's point was.

The Shimazu were both getting frustrated at this point, but Orochimaru changed the subject, looking at Waniko and telling her that he had had a nice chat with her friend earlier in the day. Waniko asked who, an Orochimaru revealed his meeting with Arata, asking her if she wanted to know who Arata reminded him of. She did, and he replied that Arata reminded him of none other than a 13-year-old Sasuke Uchiha.

Holy fug this is a long one

I've seen enough hentai to know the best way to comfort someone who is upset.

30 pages of copy-pasted logs in MS Word. It was about a five-hour one-on-one session.

Waniko flinched, and Orochimaru laughed and asked if she had had a bad run-in with him. Ushi tried to cut in, but the Sannin held up his hand and flatly told him to stop, as he wasn't talking to him. Waniko replied to Orochimaru, saying that Sasuke had sort of tried to kill her a while ago, or had wanted to, but others had stopped him. Orochimaru sighed and told her that, "Yes, he gets a little like that from time to time. Not one for debate and reasoning. More a man of action, even if the action is the wrong one." But, he continued, she was here, so everything must've been ok. He thought for a second and said, almost to himself, that Sasuke had been a "very ANGRY young man, I noticed. Even when there was nothing to be angry about, he'd manufacture something."

Waniko asked if he meant like Arata had done at the Chuunin Exams, which drew a laugh from Orochimaru, who replied that that little altercation had been 'excellent', and yes, something close to that. He went on to explain that Arata seemed to be a little different to Sasuke in that he could probably achieve his goals without Orochimaru's help, although he seemed interested earlier. Waniko replied that Arata had learned a lot from Sakura in a short amount of time, but Orochimaru scoffed and said "Sakura? Come on now, that sort of medical ninjutsu? Yeah, right, I'm sure he'll progress really far with that."

He moved on, saying that he had watched Waniko lay the smackdown on Mitsuki during the Chuunin Exams, but Waniko didn't seem to really remember. Orochimaru shrugged again and admited that by he end, it was everyone against Mitsuki anyway, before muttering to himself that he might need to 'tweak that chakra output'. Waniko replied that Mitsuki had been super strong, and he had had that 'crazy glowing thing' as well, before putting two and two together and asking if Mitsuki was Orochimaru's son. Orochimaru remained vague, replying "Sort of, but I'm not going to go into it now."

Waniko tried to swing the conversation back to its original track, asking that if Orochimaru was able to give Mitsuki that sort of power, why wouldn't he able able to make Danzo into a robot or bring him back from the dead. Orochimaru didn't seem miffed, asking that while he might've been able to, why would he want to? Waniko admitted she didn't know, but guessed that maybe he "didn't want ugly robot parts, but wanted someone else to?". Orochimaru took another sip and reiterated that Danzo hadn't been his friend, and by the time of his death, had all the information he needed. He told Waniko that she was cute with her innocence, but not, Orochimaru didn't really do things from the kindness of his heart - he needed to GET something in return, and after Danzo's death, he had nothing left to give. He scratched his head and asked the Shimazu if they had any ideas just as to how he had come back.

Ushi nodded and said they had some theories. Orochimaru asked if they wanted to share, but Ushi declined. Turning back to Waniko, he asked if he was a scary as Naruto had made him out to be. Waniko replied that he didn't look very scary, but she didn't know if she could trust him. She then asked what he got from Mitsuki. Orochimaru laughed and replied that he didn't quite know yet, but guessed that it was the joy of the unknown.

He continued, saying that Arata clearly didn't have a problem trusting him. Waniko seemed worried, asking what he could get from Arata. Orochimaru chuckled and replied "Knowledge! He gets to be patient zero!", before pausing and saying if he decided to follow through. Waniko asked if he meant like a disease, but Orochimaru replied that he wasn't going to infect Arata. He did, however, then say to himself that testing poisons on a Fujita might not be such a bad idea, took out a scrap of paper, and made a note.

Waniko then got nervous and asked if Arata would get anything out of that transaction. Orochimaru replied that he would, he'd get the same thing Sasuke, and his Sound Four, and almost everyone who sought him out had gotten. Waniko asked if it was something that Sasuke uses a lot, but Orochimaru said "Not anymore," before waving his hand and said he'd said too much. Ora raised an eyebrow and asked if he was going to curse another child, but Orochimaru scoffed and told him to get with the times, saying that that was 'so three decades ago'. Ushi sighed and got to his feet, and asked for a final time if Orochimaru knew how Danzo got back. Orochimaru finished his tea and set the cup down, confirming that he didn't, but also offered some advice:

"Apart from the two Godly Brothers over in Konoha, Danzo is one of the most dangerous people I had ever met, throughout every portion of his life. He thought nothing about giving up an arm, on a whim, for an experiment that might not have worked. He was fine with potentially turning into a tree. So my advice is this: throughout life, everything he did, no matter how stupid, or misguided, was for the good of Konoha. I don't expect that to have changed after his death, so I suggest turning your gaze inward". He locked eyes with Waniko, before finishing, "What could he possibly gain, or want, that could make Konoha stronger, better, or more powerful?"

He finished, saying "Danzo is a nationalist. To him, Konoha's strength is all that matters. To him, the war never ended. We all came home after the Second Ninja World War. I don't think Danzo truly made it home from the First." Waniko thought for a moment and asked if that meant he wanted to make a robot army instead of a shinobi one, but Orochimaru just shrugged and said that depended upon what he picked up from his time in Ame, and that maybe he's thinking that technology is the way to go now. He doubted it though, since, in his words, "he's a traditionalist. He likes things as they were. I'm not surprised he's not happy with this era of peace."

"Isn't peace good for Konoha?" Waniko asked, but Orochimaru shrugged, saying that it wouldn't be enough for Konoha to be equal with the other Villages for Danzo, Konoha had to be above them. He continued that peace was good for everyone, except maybe weapon merchants, but "Peace isn't Danzo's goal. It never was". Orochimaru got to his feet, making sure he didn't lose any bits of paper, and reiterated that Danzo likely still thinks he's fighting a war, but God knows how he plans to win it. He pointed to Waniko again and told them to look inwards, and that Danzo rarely made mistakes, and when he does, it's often just to lull his opponents into thinking he's slipping. As he walked away, he gave them one last piece of advice: "Danzo doesn't slip up."

Waniko hesitantly said goodbye, and wished him luck with his "science". Orochimaru raised a hand and called over his shoulder that if she has a chat to Arata, maybe he won't even come to see him. As he was lost in the crowd, Ora ran a hand through his hair and sighed, saying Orochimaru gave him the creeps, to which Waniko agreed.

>wished him luck with his "science"
>she was cute with her innocence

I agree. Waifu material.

Waniko hoped out loud that Arata didn't end up trusting Orochimaru, and that he likely wouldn't hold up his end of the bargain. Ushi sighed and replied that, although Orochimaru often keeps his deals, "it just might not be the deal you thought you made." Waniko wondered how Sasuke made it out of Orochimaru's deal, but mentioned the missing arm. Ushi shrugged and simply said that Sasuke had been stronger. Ora glanced at his teammate and said what they were both thinking - "You know what this means, right? Neither we, NOR he, know how Danzo came back. So how did he FUCKING do it?". The picture of calm, he threw a chair to the ground in frustration, which just got Ushi to raise an eyebrow and comment that yeah, sure, HE was the one who stood out.

Waniko raised the point that Orochimaru could've been lying about not knowing, but Ora didn't think so, saying that "he likes lording his knowledge over others. He'd at least hint that he knew. He wouldn't straight-up tellus that he didn't if he did." Ushi agreed, saying that if Orochimaru had known, he would've laughed at the Shimazu for not knowing. Waniko continued, saying that if Danzo was dead or dying, he'd need someone to help him, since dead people didn't come back on their own. Ora ran his hands over his face, but told Waniko she'd be surprised. Waniko asked if he meant like ghosts, but Ushi shook his head and said that chakra ghosts were rumours and haven't ever actually been encountered.

Ora mentioned that there were 'other ways', but suggested that they talk to Sasuke about it. Ora kicked the ground and complained about Itachi dying, saying that he'd have been able to answer all this. Waniko asked that Sasuke had a brother, and Ora confirmed it, but it was a long time ago. Waniko asked a bit more about how people come back from the dead, but the Raven Guard, for once, were pretty closed-lipped about it, just saying that it 'wasn't pretty'

Those are Danzo's motivations, but Danzo is a terribly written fuckup and anyone with a functioning brain can tell his actions were not in Konoha's best interest.

I hope you can write his motivation a bit better than Kishi did, R20 GM.

The two Raven Guard made to leave, Ushi telling her to come find them whenever she was next on Noxus. Waniko wished them luck on their mission, but Ora said that it was basically over. He then snapped his fingers and pointed at Waniko. Apparently, word on the grapevine was that the Okami clan were making moves, and that they didn't like that the Shimazu had an in at Konoha and they didn't, so the Shimazu reckoned the Okami would make contact with Naruto soon, and considering the great job her team did with the Shimazu, told her not to be surprised if her teams gets tasked with trying a similar trick on the Okami. Waniko asked what they were like, and if she'd be able to spot them when she saw them. Ora, however, told her not to interrupt, as this was important:

"Now, you're probably going to receive a cold reception there. And by you I mean 'you' personally, as a Shimazu. They don't like us, we don't like them, it's just how things are. However, they're not going to straight-up attack you out of nowhere, not when you're on a mission from Konoha." Waniko, the optimist, asked how she should fight them if she has to defend herself. The two Shimazu look at each other, a little worried. "How do you fight them? You run. You run as fast as you can." Ushi chuckled and added "Shimazu don't go one-on-one against Okami."

Waniko, suddenly very nervous, asked why that was the case. Ora explained "There's a reason they were used as shock and awe troops by Konoha in the First and Second Shinobi World Wars, little cousin. What they do is slaughter, and what they do, they do very well." Ushi just suggested she not piss them off, adding "You can't match them in strength, so if by some ungodly miracle you're in a solo fight against them, you need to use your dexterity to your advantage. Your Living Shadow is your main support."

Waniko gulped and nodded, but Ora smiled a little, telling her that Ushi was making them out worse than they were. They were still people, and told her to be respectful, don't talk back, and don't be aggressive - they'd know she'd be there on Naruto's behalf, and a guest. Ushi shrugged and told her that if it made her feel any better, the Shimazu would treat an Okami kid on their island the same way. Ora wondered out loud if Waniko's visit might be the trick to take them into the next part of their 'friends again' cycle, and Waniko asked how that happens if they hated each other so much. Ora explained:

"Different times, different lords, different events surrounding the clans. We were enemies in the Warring States Periods, made peace at the beginning of Konoha, were allies throughout the First and Second Shinobi World Wars, wary of each other during the Third, and now I guess we might be turning around again. Lord Shimazu has made it no secret that he doesn't believe the clans should be enemies." Waniko thought that if the two clans become friends again, the two of them might be able to find girlfriends there, to which the Raven Guard both laughed. Ora said it'd be a last resort, but Ushi had apparently heard things about how the Okami girls had looked during the Wars, but Ora said he wasn't a fan of girls who had to murder a ton of guys to get in the mood, although Ushi raised an eyebrow and said he hadn't heard that one before.

The both of them, however, suggest she keep an eye on Renya, as Arata generally knew how to be respectful around adults, whereas Renya didn't appear to have an off switch. Waniko agreed that he could cause a lot of trouble, but will ask him to be careful so there's less of a chance she'd be killed. The Raven Guard repeat that she'd be alright, and tell her to enjoy the rest of her time here, with Ora mentioning a beach about half an hour south-east of the Village.

The two of them turned and quickly disappeared into the crowd, leaving Waniko alone, with a lot of thoughts, a lot of questions, and not a lot of answers.

And that's it. Phew. Done and dusted. Next summary - maybe tomorrow, maybe not - will be a little interaction between Waniko and Arata, as she talks to him about life, flowers, and the hope he doesn't submi himself to the whims of a mad scientist who wants to do things with his little shota body.

I dunno. I have about three-quarters of an idea as to what Danzo's motivation and goal is, but I need that last quarter to make it fit. Don't be surprised if it's dumb, but I'll try my best!
