Why did he kill so many political enemies? Lenin never needed to

Why did he kill so many political enemies? Lenin never needed to.

Because he was a monster whose first response to political resistance was cold blooded murder followed by expunging someone from history?

Is this a joke?

Lenin lead the bolsheviks against pretty much every other political power in sight.

But he didn't kill other Bolsheviks for political disagreement

Wow it's almost like Lenin and Stalin had completely different circumstances.

You have to understand that after leading a revolution that people think you have very little chance of succeeding in, you become untouchable.

Same thing happened to Lenin and same thing happened to Mao. No one can topple you unless you want your population and party fucking you up.

Stalin didn't have the same status until after WWII.

>lead violent revolution and civil war
>but he didnt kill other of the same idiology its different!

>Why did he kill so many political enemies?
it was his way of ensuring his grip on power, he certainly didn't get to die a natural death because he was just such a great administrator everyone loved him. Stalin is the textbook example of a dictator who quite effectively rules through fear.

>Lenin never needed to
wrong

>stalin died a natural death
about that...

Yet Lenin upheld the principle of democratic centralism until quite literally his dying day. His last will was to prevent Stalin from succeeding him as leader.

For Stalin, it was his way or the highway. All vestiges of democracy were thrown out the window.

>But he didn't kill other Bolsheviks for political disagreement
infighting isnt a good idea when youre fighting a fucking war

But many disagreed with Lenin, with Trotsky on the left and Stalin's troika on the right.

The war ended 2 and a half years before Lenin's death

YouTube the greatest story never told to see how evil Stalin was

He means the civil war between the communists and the Conservative forces

Lenin's position of leadership, within the party, was virtually incontestable. Stalin's, however, could very much be contested by other ambitious leaders, many who would use intrigue or bloodshed or betrayal. Stalin didn't kill other Bolsheviks for disagreeing with him, he killed all those who overtly disagreed, among others, just to be on the safe side.

He killed anyone he could get away with killing just to be on the safe side

Lenin killed far more people than Stalin ever could, in case you've forgotten that.

>"he certainly didn't get to die a natural death"
>conclusion: user intends that Stalin died a natural death

Read before you post.

He was declining, but whether his death by stroke was entirely natural or a little nudge over the edge by Beria (rat poison) is unclear either way.

He was a very paranoid man.

>this is what stalinfags actually believe

for you

Ended before Lenin died
