This kills the knight

This kills the knight

b-but muh honor

Son:
>'Father how doth one killeth a knight?'
Father:
>'Wait 'til his horse siteth down to rest.'

It's kinda weird that two guys wearing red were able to sneak up on him in the middle of a forest.

Knight:
>I wish I was at home, practicing equistrianism
>This bluderbuss is too loud
>My Horse's Feet Hurts
>I'm Hungry

actually plate armor has pretty resistant stats vs guns. itd only take away like 10% of the knights HP.

this kills the peasant

>the "peasants were always starving back in the day" meme

This kills the knight too.

When did knightlyhood die out, bros?

when we stopped treating women with respect

I meant more as an instituion.

This kills the christian heresy from the Holy city of Istanbul.

why are they bullying him ;_;

>heresy clearing out heresy
why should I care?

...

He had to refuel his horse. Classic problem for mounted knights, they were always getting taken out during refueling. That's why they were usually reserved for a single large charge rather than drawn-out riding sessions.

Later models of the horse were actually quite fuel efficient though, it's a shame combustion engines eventually blew them out of the water.

If the damn Holy Roman Empire designers didn't insist on making them so big...

What was the point? They couldn't even cross a river. Operating distance from the railhead supply was barely anything.

They were incredibly over-engineered and fussy. Constantly breaking down.

They should have went with a cheap mass produced Soviet or American model horse.

Ridiculous.

>Not using this

Implying it isn't a clever decoy

>babby size axe
Of course the snackbars got shrek during the crusades

>Using your colleagues armed with blunt tools and piercing weapons, repeatedly beat the knight into submission with blunt objects while one of you drive a spike into his vital joints. This kills the knight.

>holding a crossbow sideways

Then they wonder what went wrong a Crecy and Agincourt.

>"Sir, we are going to fight in a flooded/hilly/heavily forested terrain!"
>"Lol, who cares? Charge anyway"

Every single time.

crusade*

;^)

medieval crossbows weren't as powerful as you think
