If it's HP Envy you've got, then you were looking at the wrong car. A lot of the cars you listed are 2 door coupes AND they're also heavy as fuck. They're not going to *feel* significantly faster than a WRX until you're really hauling ass, so that's mostly going to be on the highway or if you're being a total douchebag on local streets.

As the other user said, it sounds like you really want a V8 and if that's what you're looking for I think you should trade in for a Mustang GT if the 4 doors and AWD don't do much for you.

You can buy a WRX and mod it to be faster than the STI for less money than buying a STI, but there a bunch of little advantages of the STI. That's about all I could tell you.
