Cressidas weak point was struts instead of wishbone. otherwise i have a MS135 Crown and its been about the best car ive owned. ive put 100,000km on it the last 5 years including trips to the USA and back, never an issue

i dont know what the fuck was with that truck. i put in a 40,000km engine/trans/xferbox and it ran like shit because the engine sat for 15 years, put a new fuel pump in and used working carburetor and it ran for 3 months then wouldnt idle right again. then the axle seal leaked, removed the axle and the oil slinger in the diff dislodged. got fucking sick of everything breaking, sold it for $1k cash
guy i sold it to was going to make it a offroad machine and towed it up into the bush here in Canada, part of the deal of the sale was he would send me pictures when he finished the truck and i never heard back. i had sentimental value in it because i towed it out of the forest of a farmers land long ago 400km away in the middle of nowhere and semi restored it

Carnormies only see comfort, reputation and mostly like the current designs. To be honest I like driving my parents Merc with all electronic gimmicks, especially for long drives, but there's something sterile about them, they feel too refined while a lot of older cars feel like they have much more character to me. A lot of people I've talked to about this saw my point after a while but still would stick to driving cars as new as possible.
