this kid came into dealership that im a service writer at. contrary to what youd think im pretty shitty when it comes to knowing car values and shit.
he tried trading it in and they only offered him 8500 cause even though value is like 14k there is NO demand on them and we have 3 2010 GT's on our lot already. No one wants a new body style without the 5.0 since our retail price is still 17-20k and you can get coyotes for that.
I told him id consider 9500 for it. its been a week and he came bck to me and said hed do it if I wanted. He just wants out of it cause he owes 9000 on it and fucked up not buying a coyote and is making payments on a car he doesnt like.
