What's the safest car to drive on the road right now?
What car is the most unsafe?
>motorcycles don't count, 4 wheels only plz

any car with the Top Safety Pick Plus rank I guess
any old small shitbox is the literal worst car you can drive
old cars are light because they are cheaply built with no focus on any kind of rigidity
Meme Model 3
why does it matter? anything built in the last 20 years is safe enough.
look at the column, the camera angle was chosen to make the tesla look more favorable.
damage could be quite similar
was that a cr-x?
because this is a board where we discuss things about cars?
takata air bags are in basically all modern cars, so none are truly safe
yes
CRXs are one of the most unsafe cars that arent entirely ancient
>no Xc70
Guys.

>tfw I dd one of these down major highways in a congested city
Now you have an excuse to cage it
True that camera angle is different and favour the tesla, but in the volvo the A pillar bend around the pole while in the tesla it don't.
define "car"
>"A car is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transportation. Most definitions of car say they run primarily on roads, seat one to eight people, have four tires, and mainly transport people rather than goods."
I'm glad there are still people on this board that don't know what cars are
Maybe OP wants a car and not a truck. That's why he asked
>define "car"
This is at 40MPH mind you
Its ok, we will die doing what we love
I'm not sure about Teslas, but in partial overlaps, volvos won't spin around and fuck your organs from the instant twisting moment. They deflect instead.
I think they're one of the only brands that do that.
lucky for you truck fits the definiton posted
>head misses airbag entirely
>smashes into pillar
welp

pic unrelated
all those early '00 jeeps had horrible rollover right
Muh dick has had no focus on rigidity lately. But user is correct. Watch crash videos on commie tube. You can see how cars have been getting stronger by the year.
This is why you need to buy old american barges and be immortal
The Elantra didn't look too bad? The F150 and S10 actually make me laugh. On the S10 it looks like the airbag makes everything worse by springboarding the dummys head into the door frame. The F150 just folds like a cheap piece of crap from all angles. Like it's held together with deck screws.
BTW-The man in the pic walked away. Luckiest person in the history of man.
Not so fast Chico Swavey.
turn's out you're safest in an exotic
did he died?
Lada ejector seats throw occupants to safety
no? just me?
>00 Geo Metro
>98 Honda Civic
>98 Nissan Sentra
None of these are safe.
He lived. But died inside from natural causes. Globalism and Vodka.

That video did not disappoint. Holy crap. They would have been better off on Chinese exploding scooters.

this shit is crazy
only faggots and prius drivers worry about rolling over
they're safe enough. you could always just not crash.
>implying you can conrtol everyone else on the road
No you can't but you can drive defensively and avoid shit. Anything other than getting rear ended is preventable.
>they're safe enough. you could always just not crash.
My dad rear ended a Vue with me in the car at about 40 mph in his 2006 accent (supposedly even more unsafe) one time. Front end was absolutely mangled and the airbags didn't go off but we were fine and he drove the fucker like that for another year lmao
you don't know the story there and neither do i.
not true at all, people sideswipe eachother all the time, drive the wrong way on the road, run stopsigns, etc. come on now.
>Thinking SUV's are actually safe
can't tell if the windshield gets sprayed with shit and piss or something from the car
Actually you can reverse google the image and it'll link to somewhere with the background. The pickup truck blew a red light and caused the collision, but the Mustang driver miraculously made it out alive presumably thanks to quick reflexes. The point is that no car is inherently safe, and you're hugely dependent on your surroundings on public roads.
I did and only shitty "memes" came up
>when people say "I don't wear my seatbelt because it's safer to be thrown free in a crash!"
>stopped at a red light
>full-size van swerves into you head on
>"lol just don't crash"
i do 165 on the autobahn in these with my obese mother in the passenger seat.
pretty much this
this, they literally went bankrupt because they spent so much on safety.
That's like what, 75mph?
more like 100mph
That's pretty slow
not if its top speed is like 110 and panels start rattling and falling off before then. imagine hitting a giant's penis at 100mph. just imagine that. lovely.
>75mph
i dare you to go over 50 mph in a geo
I've been up to 120mph on dirt, and you're scared of a 2000lb car on a perfectly smooth road at 50?
My dodge charger. Those thick back bars might block the blind spot an extra inch but when some faggy mustang swings into me because he couldn't handle this shit and rolls me I'll crawl out safe
Chinese/chinese copies
May as well just jump into a trash compactor
I've heard that these are unsafe in accidents, but at least I'd look cool when I died.
unsafe: every old car
safe: tesla
