Prettty sure u r Dutch

hey c'mon man just because your bike goes 8 times as fast as mine doesn't mean mine isn't legit

Ayyyy buddy
Removed the decepticon bugscreen (autobots4lyfe) and got some decent levers.
Just returned from a cornering course, fucking amazing bike. Instantly felt right, like I never rode anything else.

and I've had her for 150km

...

Nice! Like the blue

Seems like 90% are black

My preference was Black, but the other two colors available here were close second.
So when I got a good offer I pulled the trigger on the blue one.

Looks gorgeous when the light hits it right

The bank won't even loan me $2500, life is suffering. Looks like I'm nobike for yet another year until I can save a couple simoleons and buy a Craigslist special. Someone tell me riding isn't as great as it is.

>2017 Tuono is only $1500 more than an 2017 R6
really makes ya think

Bingo

scraping pegs at 140km/h is not all that amazing.

At my cornering course we had 2 tuonos, an RSV4, 2 1290R (2017) and a HP4.
Among others

Jesus christ

scraping pegs is a sign you
a) are on the wrong bike
b) need some proper rearsets
c) need to work on your bp
d) need to lose weight

yeah I know.
Still interesting when it happens.

Sounds like a god tier cornering course tbqh.

Makes me wonder what their profit margins are like.

Also the cheaper RSV is 2k less than the cheaper R1 and the factory RSV4 is 1k cheaper than the R1M.

Found the kid with no skill

or most likely just
>need to take the feelers off

I think I misworded that:

Those were private bikes. I brought my MT09, these people brought their bikes. All sorts and shapes.

The head instructor was the (chief?) test rider for the BMW S1000RR and involved in it's development. Cool dude.

Nice

I see loads of Panigale's, RC8's, RSV4's, S1000RR's on my local ocean highway but it's all cruiser riders in town.

ahahahahah holy shit he MUST be dutch, you're right

>loan
>for anything other than business
get some real money or stay out of it

...

>paying for a house in cash
doubt it

I love the concept of those curry thumpers but they perform poorly.

>POOBIKES

idk what that pic related is but it males my big hard aprilia-bearing italian dick even bigger, harder and more italian than it normally is

i like the idea of the himalayan (cheap, really simple adv bike, easy and cheap to fix) but I've heard awful things about the reliability which is not something you want from an adv bike.

My cruiser is quiet though

It's a review of all the 2017 superbikes and the combined scores from all the testers.

If I were to buy a new bike right now it would definitely be a Tuono.

Same, but what bike do I get?
Simple and reliable, classical appearance is a bonus.

Big single with some luggage racks

whats the difference between the tuono and the rsv4 (besides the looks obviously)?
which costs more?

forreal can anyone tell me wtf this is?
it has one cylinder and zero radiators

Ergos

rsv4 has 200hp compared to the tuono's 175, and the ergos/[plastics

...

Its probably italian due to the gremica brakes. It looks 90's as well.

guessing an old MV augusta

It looks like someone described a F4I via the phone and decided to make a copy.
Cagiva?

Nobody actually uses REs as adventure bikes except some misinformed people touring India.

In the West it's a poor mans Triumph hipster bike.

It appears to be a 400ss with some weird bodywork on it, the frame, wheels, swingarm and forks match.

What do you think of this?

...

...

Would the Triumph T100 be a good first bike?

probably

...

nice, air cooled i4's look so neat

should have just got a professional to upholster that seat my dude

Anyone here own or have tried out the Nuviz HUD? Actually looks pretty good and useful as fuck.

Is the RSV4 comfy though? I already know it's really fucking awful on gas (~100mi tank range)

>HUD
>useful

I've heard it sucks because you need to refocus your eyes to look at the HUD since it's not a projection.

Also it's literally almost the size of a full brick.

>race bike
>comfy

if you got it for less than $3000 (ameridollars) yes

>FI throttle bodies styled to look like carbs
top kek. at least it makes it easier to work on than a jap bike's "stack" (in theory)

It's pretty cool, sounds good, powerband is at 7K rpm+ so I still haven't really discovered it yet since I'm learning on it as a first bike and I've only had it a few months.

meh im cheap, all I gotta do is press down on the foam and bind the bottom better. It was worse before replacement.

Race bikes can be comfy user. You have to use your muscle just to sit on one, but some bikes come with a good bar angle, not too much drop, and softer/wider/more properly sloped seats than others.

UKfag here, here's my current ride. Also looking to get a crappy supermoto to abuse...

They're less comfy than any other bike.. Don't get a race bike if you care about comfort.

For what it's worth, it's supposed to be 'comfy' compared to other superbikes.

Which stubby wrench should I keep on my keychain, most prominent bolt size, or adjustable?

If you're going to get a race bike it should be more comfortable than something built for 5 foot tall japs with unusually plush asses at the least.

Sore asses lose races.

Keep a socket set under your seat

Nice chicken strips guy
Why not buy a cruiser if you don't want to ride properly?

if you want a comfy rsv4 you just buy a tuono..

I need a screwdriver and a 12mm wrench to get under my seat.

shits expensive yo

Why don't you use windows 98 if you're just going to shitpost on Veeky Forums?

they look like brand new tires (i hope)

I use my phone because it's even more comfy than my windows xp pc.
Post rear tire with bread because I don't believe that's actually your bike for some reason

It's not, I'm just taking the piss.

People shouldn't ever have exactly what they need if they can help it. It's just limiting yourself for no reason.

Yes but why ride a sportbike if you don't want to lean

So you can learn to lean but without suffering the indignity of riding a GS500.

>people cheer on mirror smashing
why?

It's only a week old in this photo, but yeah, yeah whatever, chicken strips blah blah.

they're niggers, I mean someone has to really try to kill me to deserve me potentially damaging their car

Post it now

Spoiler alert, it isn't your bike

Anyone else read Twist of the Wrist II? It helped me learn that, yes, even a sportster can handle and turn properly given that the rider knows what he/she is doing.

Getting better at throttle control has made my riding experience exponentially better!

Tool pouch for you then m8.

Post bike I'll help you find one

Nice dent fellow cruiser rider

youtube.com/watch?v=5u19C9qJF-k

I think i'm just gonna go for a full shitbike and call it a year.

Will people think I'm a pansy dweebazoid if I ride a Rebel?

They feel like the bike equivalent of a cozy blanket

RIP in pieces KLX400 (2014-2017). You will be missed.

How big are you?

Why do you care what other people think

5'9

I'm very insecure, the opinions of random strangers means a lot to me

They might, but the fact that you're riding makes up for it.

...

Well 4chang is not the place to ask anything if you want a real answer. Especially about cruisers. All the nobikes will get triggered

You'll be fine, I was asking because some serious lanklets come here and have asked about groms. I rode a rebel for my MSF and honestly considered getting one it so comfy.

>tfw saw a 300-350lb man riding a rebel 250 through campus today

What'd you get?

300-350lbs men look ridiculous no matter what they do.

Kek, I wonder if I as hungry skeleton look strange on my liter
