Ride was fine. 100km there, 100 back. Nothing exploded, neither lung collapsed and no blood exited me.

It was nice going basically the whole highway section at about 160-180 km/h. A toast to the highway patrol - may I never meet it.

I've narrowed down my search for the new bike I've seen round about to a single street. Just need to find the house now.

I want to get a bike, and I've been studying maintenance, technique and ride ettiquite. I have my eye on a 1991 Suzuki Bandit 400 that is selling for 1100. Good choice? What should I look for when checking it out? Any knowledge that might help?

It's my dream bike too, I can't get that bike out my head. Everytime I think about bike I see that fucking bike. I dream about running away and I see myself on that fucking bike.

Thank you, that all seems simple enough. My main concern, is I kind of want to ride it around slowly in 1st gear to make sure it at least does that, if it fires. The ad says it needs TLC, any bike does, so ill ask the seller when I get the cash together. But I need to learn about shocks, is there any other concern with inspections/emissions?

inspection is usually just to make sure the bike is safe for the road, and visible but the details will vary depending on where you live, not every state has the same requirements. there isn't much to worry about with emissions unless you are from California and even then bike emissions aren't very strict so long as your bike isn't straight piped.
