If you use Firefox, there's an easier way:
>right click anywhere outside the image you want
>select "View Page Info"
>see 4 giant tabs at the top of pop up window
>click "MEDIA"
>list of all photos
>click on photo you want
>click the Save As... button

If you have Chrome there is an even easier way (maybe the extension is on FF too), but I use imagus. Hover over a photo on ig and it pulls the high res version, can press "o" and it'll open the image directly to save.
