Is it possible to make Unity's trail renderer face up, instead of facing at the camera?

Got to the final zone of the game (Alien Spaceship). Added an invaders encounter at the end of the first stage.

TheOnian's model has separate animations for raising its gun and firing, so I implemented chaining them into a single action. Could be useful in the future for other reasons.

there's going to be two big parts to the next update

the first is redoing the combat section and just adding as much shit as possible. and also removing the safeties so that players can screw themselves by poor choices instead of always having a way out

the second is that now notes/clues are going to be part of the game. so what the mc know is going to be just as important as what items he has in his inventory.

Are you talking JPRG combat, where you're taken to a separate screen, or some kind of separate arena, or does the combat take place in the same map that you move in like a roguelike?

I was planning on having the combat take place on the same map you move and when combat starts having you attack then defend/dodge in some small area in a turn based manner.

i think you should remake the attack animation for the sword swing, because it's shit. you should seriously look into other games/ animation in general to get an idea of how a nonshit sword swing should look. believe it or not, animations can break or make your gaym.

If this is the game I think it is, having a forced gameplay change near the end of the game is a huge turn off, for me at least. Some Metal Slug games went from "pretty solid" to "meh" because of this.

there is only one thing I could say I dislike about reaper for my purposes and that's the midi mod wheel values are sometimes slow to edit. I've been thinking of swapping to cubase for a while but I end out finding no reason to.

Actually I find reaper mega useful in terms of workflow when doing sounds at work because of the good tabbed sessions sytem, I can keep a bunch of tabs going at once, so I'd still choose to use it for that anyway.
