Honestly it looks pretty good. I bought my Miata rattle canned because the drivetrain was in fantastic shape, and for some reason normies like it. There's overspray all over some spots. Can't wait to get it fixed.

Don't have the 1.5 in burgerland so I've never driven one but own a 2.0. I believe it. The 1.5 is about 100kg lighter, and the allure of the Miata is being underpowered but very nimble.

No, Mazda US insisted on muh horsepower. It's honestly great. It's my daily and I autocross it most weekends during the spring/summer. It's not very practical as you'd expect, but it's fun to cruise around in for sure. Has just enough creature comforts without being overbearing with all the nannies and extra weight.

They're one size larger than I wanted (235s, on a 7" wheel) but I paid $750 total for the RPF1s and the tires with one track day on them so I'm not complaining at all. Still have 4 more points events this season plus a couple local club events and then they'll be shot.

anyone know why my headlights don't sit flush when closed? they actually sit above the hood. In all my research, it seems like people only have ones that sit below the hood due to pressure. Mine rest above the hood, and i tried manually setting them down but they just go back to that position when i open / close them.
