Is ponderousness alright for Centaurs? I see one in shop and is wondering whether its worth it.

Centaurs are pretty shit without their speed, so I wouldn't take it. Ponderousness is an over-hated/underrated, but it should be used on species that are either slow or average speed to begin with.

As said and also consider ice caves can be pretty dangerous if you get the ice fiend layout, since an ice fiend can fuck over most Lair character sideways while sipping tea and tap-dancing. There's another where you get an ice giant which can also be dangerous if your character isn't diesel and you have no buffs

Minotaur is tedious AF and I always get dog shit. Can peek into Ice and always dip out its scary

I was curious about the new Salt-branch and ended up charging in not knowing what to expect. Needless to say i got pushed back pretty hard and now im fucked.

Options that come to mind are

Teleporting seems risky since i haven't cleared the floor at all but i guess i have to do it. Should i blink+tp or should i try something with Passage? Would scroll of fear work as a distraction?
