well that's part of your problem, currently any casemate TDs w/o armor is hot garbage. Turreted TD's play as mediums that have to stay back or have some other feature.

If you haven't already, start playing bias heavies and your pick of mediums. Between both, they'll give you the best basic skill-set.

Yeah I did realize this a little late, currently also have a KV-85 in tier 6 and a lot of mediums at tier 5. I think one of my issue is spreading out over so many trees.

The lowe is one of the best you can buy for gold at the moment and probably the best for newer players.

It has:
>good gun depression and a strong turret
>good hull armor for sidescraping/hull down
>high pen and good gun handling

It's not on the same level as the patriot/defender type premiums, but it's no slouch

Once you get RNG on your side a little, this tank really does well

The "skilled" players in World of Tanks aren't actually skilled at all.

All they can do is shit on the shitty and average players. Unlike in other games like Counter-Strike, and Overwatch, even non-fps games like League of Legends and Heroes of the Storm players in these games are actually skilled.

They can actually play and win against other similarly skilled players.

But the teals/blues/purples in WoT just suicide or avoid fighting each other because they know that in actuality, they're shit players.
