GIVE ME ONE, JUST ONE FUCKING REASON NOT TO BECOME AN ELEVATOR MECHANIC

GIVE ME ONE, JUST ONE FUCKING REASON NOT TO BECOME AN ELEVATOR MECHANIC.

getting electrocuted.

and you probably lack the connections needed to land an apprenticeship

can i make the connections?

>Experience
>3 years to less than 5 years

hmm

>for $120,000/yr working under 45 hours a week

Literally better than cuckold finance jobs

that salary is for a foreman, not an elevator repair person.

and it's not even a big salary for a foreman.

is this in a city with high towers?

cause you know, those elevator shafts just go straight down...

>Getting electrocuted
>Asking if you can make the connections

Is this a meme?

Because connections. Like in an electrical circuit.

it's canadough

in us that's like $13k

>in us that's like $13k

It's $91,000 USD

doesn't really count though because there's nothing in Canada you want to buy. So one canadough is worth less than a penny.

this logic literally made me laugh my ass off
thank you

>getting electrocuted
What a piece of shit. I bet your dad is a wife beater and you tell people that your dad doesn't know how to throw a punch.

Could be a firefighter and make the same amount and while you work a 50 hour work week you only work 75-100 days a year depending on vacation/shift so scheduling.

It's a good gig but tough to get into.

You'll owe about $33,885 in tax: $22,008 in federal tax and $11,878 in provincial tax.

Your after-tax income is $86,115. Your average and marginal tax rates are 28.24% and 43.41%.

86,115 Cad.
>65550 USD.

It's funny because it's mostly true.
t. Canadian living in southern ontario

Here's a reason. You'll have to deal with the TSSA (technical standards safety authority) and write a bunch of exams, then practical time. During that time you won't be making anywhere close to 120,000.

completely irrelevant if you live in canada though

>completely irrelevant if you live in canada though
what? yes it is. Most canadians live in towns and cities that border the USA.

...
