94-98 3.8 v6s were like 150hp. The GTs made 220ish. 94 and 95 got the 5.0, 96-98 got the early 2v 4.6.

That being said, they are a total dog. A 5.0 can be beefed up for cheap. However i have raced a fully boly on'd 97 and was amazed by how slow it was.

99-04 v6s got different heads and cam, resulting in a 40whp gain. The GTs got PI 2v heads and PI cams, also gained about 40 rwhp

So anything v6 or pre 99, ESPECIALLY autos, will feel slow as fuck from my experience. Excluding the 96-98 cobras ofc.

I really wouldnt recommend anything but the GTs, although the early 4.6s with full exhaust, UDPs, and 3.73s with a tremec are still amazingly slow. Everybody already knows, 94-95 is preferred for the vast SBF market.

Esp the sn95, the body is so boring and lackluster you almost need to put on something that distracts you from the body
like wide fender flares/big wings/rear louvers/aggressive bodykits etc, in some ways it's great cause it gives you an excuse to rice out or bosozoku/shakotan a mustang

Miata vs v8 manual sn95, what would be the most fun for the money?

Depends which style of driving you like the most. If you like highway pulls and accelerating from traffic lights the Mustang is the way to go and if you have good, winding roads and you like driving those, then the Miata. If you're generally new to sports cars maybe try the Mustang first since you'll have more opportunities to use its strengths and you can also try the curvier stuff a bit, and if you like it then get a Miata to kill those. Also the Mustang is way better if you want the thing as a DD, although the Miata is perhaps a bit more reliable.

They're made of cut and bent steel, you can make your own. Gotta admit I really like the wide body, but with the blocked off radiator it looks very bland

These cars had thrse giant engines and still didn't get < 5.0 0-60 stock.

Maybe the 442 and gsx were close, but those cars were overrated af. They sure didn't handle well either.
