I wish there was a MMR for casual, just like there is in EVERY OTHER GAME. I couldn't care less for the botched competitive mode, but I want to play with people that are actually good at the game.

I think it goes to Workshop downloads or something rather than the TF2 maps folder, for some reason, or at least that's how I recall it being.
I haven't downloaded anything from the workshop in 2 years now.

how do i make a mapcycle use custom maps? does it even support custom maps? every time i try to host it with something like cp_glassworks it just gives an error and switches to default

It's checking the workshop to see if there is a new version of the map. This is something you want, since the server's copy is also updated. Map mismatches mean you don't get to play.

Errors are fairly informative, you should start there.

I use megaconz for all filehosting, never had any problem with it. If it's photos though just use imgur.

Please give me the ip as soon as possible. Ive got a group of friends that I play TF2 with, and when we get 6+ people playing we struggle to find good community servers to play on. Ill heckin sit on your server by myself if I have to just to keep it from being empty. Literally all I want is a server with good unofficial maps.
