It's going pretty well for my first 3D fighter but it will probably all start falling down soon
Josiah Ross
For me, it's Miguel
Ethan Watson
It's like i20 startup (which is quick for a low launcher but not unseeable by any means), only launches on CH and range 0. Block it and it's a launch for the entire cast.
The animation is kinda weird to block because he sorta lifts his shoulder before going low, but its not unseeable
Nathan Gutierrez
>winning super hard >opponent presses R1 >lose all the advantage I had epic mechanic
Robert Diaz
Is button binding legal in T7 majors and locals?
I mean i mostly play online but if i plan to go outside at some point i want to learn things properly right from the start.
Luke Jackson
It's i18.

>not blocking the blatantly obvious move
Ryder Hall
Can't wait to play as frog Miguel.
Actually launches on normal hit now, but you have to be close enough to get a clean hit with it. Still seeable and on par with other snake edge-esque moves.
Brody Harris
I don't like RAs either but I can't complain when I get hit by them. The game tells me in advance that my opponent has it.
Tyler Torres
I would assume so, the only advantage you get is preference.
Oliver Richardson
>I can't stop pressing buttons
Caleb Rogers
Only the last pixel matters kid.
Hudson Barnes
On the topic of movement, when should I be looking to backdash vs sidestep? I've been playing a ton of Steve so my go to plan is hit em with some b+1s and/or d1+2s then backdash to look for the whiff. Sometimes though, I feel like I should've sidestepped the attack seeing how Steve's sidestepping is apparently a key part to his game. What do you guys think?
Joseph Cooper
It's legal. There are other things you should worry about. Such as trading shirts at the end of the set.
Jackson Evans
Is this as awful a choice for someone's first fighting game as it looks?
Parker Clark
My side dashes don't feel very effective, is it because I'm playing Gigas and he's got a massive hitbox? I just need to know if it's that or I'm timing them wrong
Bentley Stewart
thinking about picking up Miguel as a secondary because he's so goddamn sexy
this is so fucking fucking funny need to see croagunk doing miguel's RA animation next
Kayden Ortiz
Only hitboxes may be illegal and I'm not even sure about that, I remember Aris being extremely butthurt at those
Jaxon Nguyen
neone wanna play some tekken 7 pc? eu
Justin Sanders
Is Miguel the most handsome Tekken?
Christian Green
Well i what i meant is binding grabs and dual button inputs to the shoulder buttons
Luke Perez
You can do everything a hitbox does on a pad. If you ban hitboxes you should also ban pads.
Jose Thompson
No, but people will copy any of the OPs for the new thread, no matter how outdated or poorly formatted.
Lucas Martinez
>Get so nervous I start shaking
Hudson Peterson
No,but he is the manliest
Isaiah Murphy
I thought it said "Gomen". Now that would have been a good picture.
Lucas Campbell
That's Bob
Nathan Johnson
Gigas does have a huge hitbox but you could also have timed them wrong.
Wyatt Nelson
Am I the only who can't stop fantasizing about Katarina?
Julian Foster
>why did he land a Rage Art on me
David Robinson
How is Paul not the manliest character?
Ian Bell
How Kasumi doesn't lose her shoes when she's giving kicks? Doesn't seems very practical to me.
Juan Gutierrez
Hitboxes are legal, they just make certain types whine and cry. A point in their favor, really.
Hudson Torres
It really is a shit mechanic, so I can understand. The fact it has armor and comes out instantly in a game where you can easily react to your opponent moves is dumb. The fact they thought this was a good idea is retarded. >muh esports epik plays
Ethan Anderson
I first got interested in fighting games after playing Tekken Revolution and then buying TTT2.
Mason Young
>Feng
Bentley Martinez
He's Kuma's bitch
Anthony Parker
Armor activates on the 9th frame
Josiah Hall
It doesn't come out instantly.
Henry Diaz
>comes out instantly Most rage arts are slow as shit, actually.
Kevin Robinson
>muh esports epik plays
Yeah you see Rage Arts deciding matches between high level players almost every round

But I play Leo!!!!!
Justin Ward
>why can't I just keep pressing buttons
Adrian Anderson
I know this is bait, but come on man, it's not hard to stuff RAs at shitter rank like me
Anthony Morris
Playing low IQ characters is fun. Maybe I'm low IQ.
Owen Phillips
Leo is cute
Eli Morris
Is it a coincidence that the ones who complain about new mechanics are always shitters?
Michael Ross
Is there any good combo off Josie ch ws3?
Ethan Hall
Are you playing Jin?
Carson Kelly
At the very least 2 weeks.
Caleb Brown
As long as you have fun
David Flores
>can't get the hang of kbd
James Campbell
No I'm playing Leo. I wouldn't call Jin a low IQ character.
Angel Martinez
I don't know man, he's quite unga bunga sometimes.
Parker Lee
It ain't perfect but its getting there.
Christopher Hernandez
Nope, same whiney bitches that complain about spam and brain dead characters. They rather cry than take a lost and try to improve.
William Gonzalez
>tfw winning a 1 bar match
Evan Ortiz
What a sad state of affairs that the only useful resource Tekken community has is a japanese wiki that uses anime notations.
Brandon Sullivan
*knocks you down at the wall with df2+3* My turn! My turn again! It's my turn! This is fun!!!!!!!!
Cooper Wood
Which Tekken girl has the best porn?
Matthew Johnson
Jin is the highest IQ though
Dominic Baker
the japanese notation is easy to read though, it's probably even easier for newcomers
Hunter Nguyen
It still punishes anyone that decide to throw out a single attack since everything in this game is slow enough to be reacted to. You can just wait for your opponent to go for an attack and then boom, you can punish it with a RA. The time it take for a person to recover from a move is not enough to stop their self from getting hit by a RA. This game being played from the neutral is still easy enough to land RAs. When your opponent is gonna go for an attack, you can easily react to it and just RA on them. If you base the fairness of RAs on the opponent predicting and failing a RA instead of an opponent reacting with an RA, then you wouldn't understand.
Jayden Thompson
*mashes 1+2 from disadvantage* *hopkick into parry*
Caleb Fisher
>mfw moonrunes with numpad notation is easier to understand than american tekken notation
Julian Reed
Yet the "Tekken community" refuses to use it.
Jaxson Howard
>Tekken >porn
Asuka, I'd say
Jace Ross
Whenever my opponent has rage u play super defensively and bait it out, block, and punish
Is super easy if they always use it
Austin Adams
Or you could backdash, launch and do way more than what the Rage Art did.
Nathan Gonzalez
Yeah the american notation is shit but it takes like 5 minutes to learn both
Eli Bell
>you can react to pokes with RA that's false and you're a scrub
Brody Powell
>it takes like 5 minutes to learn
Christopher Sanchez
You're over doing the movement I bet, make sure you're transitioning b into bd as tightly as possible to make sure you don't go d. You should barely feel as though you're moving your stick down.
Jayden Russell
Which do you think is better, the Hori Fighting Commander 4 or 5? I'm leaning towards the 5 because I've read it has a better dpad.
Mason Gutierrez
>stick
I-I've always used a pad. But thanks I'll keep trying
Elijah Rogers
Agreed
Eli Bell
Well you can react, but it's another question if it's in time or efficient. Against that kind of twitchy players, I'd just throw a jab in the air, block the RA and do punish of minimal damage, as I'm a shitter with no good combo-execution.
